Disclaimer: I received Bob’s Red Mill Protein Powder Nutritional Booster through my relationship with FitApproach. All opinions are my own!
Happy Friday! I apologize for the radio silence on the blog this week. I’ve been battling a cold, dealing with a lot of stuff at work and I’m still having issues with my knee. There has just been too much going on to blog, but I promise to post by Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego recaps next week!
Today Iām participating in the Friday Five link up with Courtney from Eat Pray Run DC, Mar from Mar on the Run and Cynthia from You Signed Up For What?!. Today’s topic is food and drink.
I’m a big fan of protein powders because you can use it in smoothies and when baking food, but it has to be the RIGHT type of protein powder. My two requirements are wholesome ingredients and great tasting, and Bob’s Red Mill passed the test! I especially experiment with different protein powders and flavors during the summer because smoothies are a staple in my diet during the warmer months!
Here are 5 ways to be #SummerStrong with Bob’s Red Mill!
Great taste on-the-go – Choose from four different flavors – vanilla, chocolate, chai and protein and fiber. (My favorite flavor was the vanilla!)
Stay fuller longer – With 20 grams of plant-based protein per serving, you’re not only stay fuller longer, but it might help you to stay away from summer “snacks”, such as ice cream!
Increase your intake of quality ingredients – Vegan, Gluten-free, chia, probiotics, omega-3 and plant based protein – those ingredients will definitely help you power through your workouts and be #summerstrong!
