Happy Friday! I don’t know about you but I’m thrilled that the weekend is finally near. Also it’s NYC Marathon weekend and I’m volunteering on Sunday and I am so excited for all the runners!
We all know that eating healthy and organic can be a little expensive, but what if I told you there was a way to get coupons for some of the items you love or better yet, get those items for FREE? Yup, I said FREE. Look at my recent haul from last week – all free with coupons. I got around $20 worth of items for $0.

How did I do it? It’s quite simple – I just contacted the companies via email. I use all these items anyway, so I reached out to let them know how much I love their products and to ask if they could send me any coupons. Some companies went above and beyond and sent me coupons for free products!
I spent about an hour reaching out to various companies and most were responsive.

I'm an avid couponer. Thanks for reminding me to write to my favorite companies. Is been a few years since I did that. Like you, I found that nearly every company I wrote to responded with coupons and products. One company sent me a huge box of free, full size products. Blue diamond, earthbound farms and organic girl are probably my favorites on your list.
Thats awesome Sarah. I really got into couponing when I was unemployed a few years ago. I still use coupons, but not as much as I used to. I really appreciate companies that not only respond back to a message, but also provide coupons.

What a great idea! I am always looking for more ways to save, but this is an avenue I haven't explored yet. My absolute favorite yogurt brand is Noosa. More like a decadent dessert than yogurt and that's just fine by me 🙂
