Disclaimer: Through my affiliation with FitApproach, I was sent two bottles of Mighty Nut. This is a sponsored post but all opinions are my own.
I love peanut butter. My favorite snack is a granny smith apple with peanut butter. I just love the flavor of the peanut butter mixed with the sweetness of the apple! While I love peanut butter, I know that I need to use it sparingly due to the fat and calorie content. This is why powdered peanut butter is so great – 85% less fat calories than traditional peanut butter and only 1-1.5 grams of fat. That’s a win-win!
Peanut Butter & Co Mighty Nut Powdered Peanut Butter
I was excited to try this product. I was sent the original and vanilla flavors. You may be wondering, how do they make powdered peanut butter? According to their website,
“Mighty Nut takes quality USA grown peanuts, roast them, and press them to remove most of the fat. What remains is protein, fiber and delicious peanut buttery taste”.

You can use Mighty Nut in a variety of ways – include in smoothies, baking, cooking or you can even use it to make dips and spreads. To help with this, Mighty Nut comes in 4 flavors – original, chocolate, flax & chia and vanilla.

The first time I tried Mighty Nut I added it to my oatmeal. I cooked the oatmeal according to the directions on the package and then added one scoop of Mighty Nut Vanilla and sliced bananas. It was delicious and helped keep me fueled for my morning workout that day!
Next I decided to make a protein smoothie using some of my favorite products.

I use Vega Sport and love all their flavors, but something about the mocha flavor really makes my protein drinks delicious. I decided to add Mighty Nut to my drink and here is the result!
Mocha Banana Peanut Butter Protein Drink
2 cups of spinach/kale (any ‘greens’ mix will do)
1 scoop Vega Sport Mocha Protein Powder
1 scoop Mighty Nut Vanilla Protein Powder
1 medium sized banana (the more ripe the better!)
1 cup of ice
1 1/2 cups of water
Blend it all up in your NutriBullet, Vitamix, blender, etc and here is the finished product:
