Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Topics. This week’s Tuesday Topic: What’s your plan to achieve your 2023 goals? You can write about this, or any other running topic. Remember to link-up with Kim and Zenaida and the bottom of this post.
Friday was National Quitters Day – the day that most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions. I’m happy to report that I didn’t celebrate that “holiday” and I’m still working toward hitting all of my goals in 2023. As a reminder, here are my goals:
Here’s how I plan on achieving my Peloton goals:
Running, Walking, Cycling, Strength and Tread Bootcamp Goals
This really boils down to consistency. I plan out all of my workouts so I make sure that I always have a good mix of all these types of classes so that I can make sure I hit my number goals.
Here’s how I plan on achieving my OTF goal:
PR the March or September DriTri
Participating in the Transformation Challenge will from January-March will help with this goal as I plan to really work on my nutrition, especially my protein intake.
In addition, I will be doing at least two 45-60 minute runs per month and will focus on getting outdoors for more walks/runs. I think these two things will help with the outdoor run portion of the DriTri.
Tell me: What’s your plan to achieve your 2023 goals?

National Quitters Day! I didn’t celebrate that day either! I’ve had such a good start to the year and hope this energy continues! Definitely not quitting any time soon, LOL!
Sounds like a solid plan Kim and I for one think you are going to nail those goals!

You plan sounds like a good one. To reach my 2023 goals of maintaining my current level of fitness I plan to keep on keepin’ on. 😀

Wow, National Quitter’s Day was already a few days ago? I would have thought it would have been a bit later (like after three weeks time), but yikes. It’s sad that so many give up after such a short attempt. Anyways, nice goals on deck, #KimTwin! I’m excited to follow you along as you slay ’23!!

I agree – i thought it would be closer to the end of January but I guess most people “fall off the wagon” after 2 weeks.

I know that you will reach your 2023 goals, Kim!
I’m very impressed with the 800 running classes. That’s more than 2 classes a day, every day. That’s a lot, especially since you’re doing all the other classes, too!
kookyrunner says
Oh the 800 it the running milestone, not 800 runs for the year. Right now I’m at 617 Peloton runs so I am aiming to hit 800 by the end of year. sorry for the confusion!
Catrina says
Ah, I get it! Still very impressive! All the very best for 2023, Kim!
