Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Topics. This week’s Tuesday Topic: holiday gifts for runners Remember to link-up with Kim and Zenaida and the bottom of this post.
Run Ink
This company provides custom maps for your races. It’s a really nice way to commemorate a race (including virtual ones) – a first marathon, a PR, etc. You can personalize the map by including your name, bib number, date, year and finish time. I have Run Ink custom maps for all of my marathons and I love them! The website also sells holiday ornaments, mugs, posters and stickers.
Therabody Theraguns
I use the Theragun Prime several times a week and I love it! I’ve also heard really great things about the Mini, which is perfect for travel. I know I’m guilty of this, but sometimes runners forget about the recovery part of training. The Theragun makes it easy to massage tired muscles.
Believe Training Journal
I have used Believe Training journals in the past and they are excellent. I love that you have space to plan out workouts for the week and there’s also a section to write down goals. I always loved looking back in my journals to see my progress after each training cycle.
Koala Clip
If you don’t want to run with a running belt or with your phone in your hand, the koala clip is the perfect option. You can clip it to the back of your sports bra and the cover keeps your phone protected from sweat. I haven’t personally tried out this item yet but I know many runners that have and all the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.
WIN Sports Detergent
Okay, so this isn’t the sexiest gift option but hear me out! I’m all about giving people gifts that I know they will use. No one wants to wear smelly workout clothes, so this detergent will definitely get used. I have been using WIN sports detergent for a few years and it works very well. I have sensitive skin so I use the free and clear version.
Tell me: What are some of your gift ideas for runners?

Topic for next week – Show us your year in bling. We hope you’ll link up with us!
I love your gift ideas! I also have Run Ink maps from my marathons and they are hanging up by my TM. I think I’m probably the only runner who doesn’t own a massage gun. Maybe it’s time to remedy that?
What’s on your wish list?
I think you should add a massage gun to your list this year!
The only thing I have on my list this year is a new pair of sneakers – I’m simple to buy for, lol.
Ha! I agree there is nothing wrong with gifting very useful things like sports detergent! It will definitely be used and people won’t forget that gift! 😀
I often end up giving people vouchers for their favorite running stores. Not the most imaginative, but at least it will be used.
Vouchers to running stores are always a great idea!
Ha ha, I’m not sure I’ll be giving anyone laundry detergent for Christmas. But I know what you mean- workout clothes can end up with an… odd… smell. I use Hex right now and it works pretty well- but I’ll look into Win and maybe try it out.
I’ve used the Believe training journal in the past- they are really nice!
I feel like as I get older, I always think of more practical gifts, like laundry detergent, lol.
I love your gift ideas. I’ve heard of Run Ink but have yet to order something from them.
I feel like runners can always use new shoes, socks, and fuel 🙂
Oh for sure – runners can never have enough socks, lol.
Run ink sounds like a great gift for someone running their first marathon. I second the Theragun! I use mine every day
Definitely! The maps are such a great way to commemorate the race.
The detergent is a great idea! I love the one I use.
It’s the best! I am convinced it’s why my workout clothes have lasted so long.
Reflective heel clips for your shoes are my new favorite since I don’t think my reflective are reflective enough. Balega socks too
