Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Topics. This week’s Tuesday Topic: What were your thoughts on your last run?. Remember to link-up with Kim and Zenaida and the bottom of this post.
90% of the time I run in the morning so I have have a bunch of random things flying around in my head, and my last run was no different. Here are a few things I thought about during my last 30 minute run.
Ugh..today is Valentine’s Day
– Valentine’s Day falling on a Monday is so appropriate, lol.
– How many times will I roll my eyes today at all the lovey-dovey posts?
– I wonder what time I should order my heart-shaped pizza? I want to make sure that they don’t sell out.
– Tomorrow I need to check CVS for discounted Reese’s peanut butter hearts.
– Should I update my profile on the dating apps? I doubt that will change anything though.
Work is going to kick my butt again this week
– This report is going to drive me crazy…as it does every single year.
– I really hope people are more responsive this week since this project is already behind schedule.
– I’m so happy I will be off on Friday and that work is closed on Monday for PResident’s Day. A 4-day weekend is going to be great.
– I need to contact my ex-manager this week and see how she’s doing with her new job.
This Swizz Beatz run is great
– Love the playlist – even has some ‘new-to-me’ songs.
– I need to run with Marcel more often. Her energy is great.

Trying to think what I thought about yesterday. I don’t really remember! Lately my memory is mush. I do remember thinking I was really glad I did the Billy Joel run (harder) before the Chicks run (easier). I’m sure I was grateful for my treadmill again, too.
Sounds like you ended the run n a better mood — that’s what it’s all about, right?
kookyrunner says
Yup! As long as I end my run or workout in a better mood than I started, I’m happy.

I did Cody’s pop ride last night (from yesterday), and he was slamming all the lovey-dovey Valentines stuff, too. It was hilarious! He also said to just wait and buy all the candy today becasue it would be on sale 😉 I plan to take his advice, LOL
kookyrunner says
Sounds like I should also take that class with Cody, lol.

Good to know your thoughts are as random as mine on a run! Glad we made it through Valentine’s Day- but now you have me craving a post-V Day pizza. I might have to do that tonight!
kookyrunner says
Unfortunately my V-day pizza wasn’t that great (kinda greasy), so that just means I need to make up for that with weekend pizza, lol.

I loved hearing your thoughts!! Let me think…my last one was an intense hill workout after going to a funeral. So my thoughts flipped between how hard this hill is, how hot it is, and how sore I felt for my colleague (who had lost her 16 year old son).
kookyrunner says
Oh man, that’s rough 🙁 My condolences to your colleague.

I love Marcel! I don’t get to take her classes often but I love her personality! We didn’t get a heart shaped pizza this year and I think it’s the first time in years that we haven’t lol. We made up for it with tacos that you plated to look like a heart lol.
kookyrunner says
Same here! I feel like there are so many instructors and classes that it’s hard to keep up, lol.

I ran with Jenny today. We chatted the whole time. I’m
So grateful to have running friends and to have left the cold for a few days.
Happy you ended your run in a better mood. Running truly is therapy.
kookyrunner says
Love that you got to run with Jenny yesterday – so fun!

well after I make my to do list for the day in my head, I then try to figure out where I should take my post run selfie LOL keeping it real. Then, I am usually thinking about food 🙂
kookyrunner says
The post run selfie is definitely important though!
Black Knight says
When I run I think about a lot of things too. In this way the time flies!
kookyrunner says
Thinking about a bunch of stuff makes the run go by so much faster!
Michelle says
My brain is all over the place too – usually rattling through my to do list. I love that you were thinking about the discounted Reece’s hearts – priorities 🙂
kookyrunner says
LOL, the fact that candy was on my priority list says a lot.

I mean yes. What else is the point?
ALso a scattered morning runner. Today I was with a friend Thursday the mind was on work overdrive. Glad you got a four day weekend.
