Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Topics. This week’s Tuesday Topic: What are you excited for this week? Remember to link-up with Kim and Zenaida and the bottom of this post.
Apologies for missing Tuesday Topics last week – gotta love blog issues, lol. Am I the only person that can’t believe August went by so quickly? I’m still coming to terms that we are now in September.
Kids here went back to school last week and I have been off work since August 25th. I didn’t travel anywhere but it has been nice to have some extended time off. I go back to work on Wednesday so I ended up having a nice week and a half off…and I’m super proud of myself for NOT checking my email at all and truly disconnecting from all the craziness.
I’m actually excited for a few things this week. Here’s my list:
Family Visit – My cousin and his daughter are coming to visit my family for two days. I haven’t seen my cousin in a few years and I have never met his youngest daughter, so I’m looking forward to their visit.
Working – Okay, well I am not exactly thrilled about it, but I do like a routine and I know the longer I’m out the more insane my inbox will be so logging in and getting back to work will be a good thing.
Going to the movies – I can’t remember the last time I have been to a movie theatre – maybe 2018 or 2019? (I’m just not a huge movie theatre person). But because I have the humor of an 18 year old frat boy, I’m planning on seeing this movie later on today.
Health, Wellness and Lifestyle Expo – This expo comes to my city once a year and it’s always a great event. There are so many vendors and I feel like I learn something new each time I go.
Volunteering – I’ll be volunteering with a local soup kitchen on Saturday morning to collect food donations. We’ll be positioned outside a busy supermarket to help collect donations from shoppers. I always look forward to working with the staff.

Good to have you back and sounds like you have quite a few interesting things to be excited about this week! I have the Spar Community Challenge race this weekend followed by lunch with my sister. We haven’t caught up in ages so really looking forward to that!
