Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Topics. This week’s Tuesday Topic: FREE! You can write about any topic. Remember to link-up with Kim and Zenaida and the bottom of this post.
With the current state of the economy and inflation, I know we’re all looking for ways to save on basically everything, and that includes running gear. What better time to bring back one of my older Tuesday Topics post – Where to Score Deals on Running Gear.

Online Resale Websites
I know that that people either love or hate the resale websites but I’ve always been able to find some great deals on there. I only purchase items that are new with tags. On eBay I’ve purchased Brooks sports bras and a few workout shirts. I found a really awesome pair of brand new Nike running rights on Poshmark last year (at a super discount too). I’ve noticed that I find the best sales during the off season. For example, next month would be a good time to search listing for Winter running gear since we’re going into Spring. I’ve also heard good things about the ThredUp website but haven’t shopped on there yet.
Running Warehouse
I really like the Running Warehouse website because they have everything from nutrition items to running sneakers. When I was looking for a pair of Brooks sneakers, they were sold out in my size on the Brooks website but I was able to go to Running Warehouse and not only find the sneakers in my size, but for a little bit cheaper as well! They also offer free 2-day shipping and they have a great return policy. I’ve had to contact their customer service department twice and both times they were super friendly and accommodating.
Amazon
Of course Amazon had to be included in this list! I’ve actually found that Amazon is a great resource if you’re looking for “out of date” items. What I mean by that is any items from last season or the previous version of sneakers.
Brooks Running
When Brooks has their sales, you can find great items at a nice discount, especially their shirts and tanks. The often have certain sneakers available for sale as well!
Tell me: Where do you shop for deals on running gear?

Topic for next week – March 8 is International Women’s Day. Who are the female athletes you admire? We hope you’ll link up with us!
I just scored a Garmin Forerunner 55 on eBay for about 60% of full retail. It was ‘lightly used’ and so far, it works great! While I needed a new watch, I just didn’t want to pay full price–they are so expensive now!
Sierra Trading Post is owned by TJMaxx and they have a lot of bargains, especially on running socks, another pricey item.
Thanks for the reminder about Sierra Trading Post!
I love hunting for bargains!
I tend to use my stuff until it falls apart. Right now, quite a few tops are falling apart so it’s time to get a few new ones. There’s a sports outlet not too far from where we live, so that’s where I’m going next month!
Me too – I always enjoy when I find a good sale, especially an unexpected one.
This is a timely post! Everything is SO expensive nowadays. These are all great resources. I buy my running shoes from Fleet Feet- they have a rewards program, so with my husband and me both buying our shoes form them, we frequently will get a $20 reward.
Right?! I feel like I’m constantly doing a double take on prices nowadays, especially at the grocery store lol.
We used to have a Fleet Feet in my city and I loved their rewards program! I was so bummed when they closed a few years ago.
I’m a big fan of sales.
I have used Poshmark and gotten new (or barely worn) running shoes for real cheap.
Love Brooks sales on shirts.
Poshmark is awesome, especially for running items!
I have sold a bunch of barely used running clothes on Poshmark. It is a great site to find fun gear Yes, Brooks does have great sales
I love when I can catch a good sale at Brooks, especially on their running tanks. Now I just need their sneakers to go on sale too lol
There were some running capris I really wanted to try, but not inexpensive. I found an pair on Poshmark at a great price, loved them, and have since bought another pair of capris and a pair of long pants. I also find that Dick’s Sporting Goods can have really great sales online (can be hit or miss so I feel like you have to check regularly). Also, get to know your small locally owned running store, if available. My local store called customers to let them know they were getting a huge shipment of 2023 shoes and needed to clear out 2022 – almost all older shoes were $50/ pair. I found a pair and we got my son 6 pairs in progressing sizes (he is junior high aged…so grows like a weed). I’ll have to check out some of these other mentioned sites (so for this long winded comment).
Poshmark is a great resource for discounted running gear. I haven’t shopped at Dick’s Sporting Goods in a while – thanks for the recommendation!
I also love Running Warehouse! I have also found great stuff on the Brooks site.
Running Warehouse always has such great sales on a bunch of different brands.
I love Running Warehouse and Brooks also has some great sales. I keep forgetting to check out Poshmark – thanks for the reminder!
