It’s the first Tuesday in December so you know what that means..it’s time for Tunes Tuesday!! As a reminder, Tunes Tuesday is now once a month instead of weekly. We will still have themes but feel that a monthly format may help more people participate. The link-up will open on the first Tuesday of each month. The theme for this month is Holiday Jams.
It’s December and the holidays are in full swing. Houses are decorated, stores and parking lots are full and you can hear holiday music everywhere. Besides spending time with family, music is the best part about the holidays. I love the traditional holiday songs, but I lean more towards any type of “Pop” holiday music. While I can’t guarantee that these songs will make you run faster or lift heavier weights, they will put a huge smile on your face!

Ha, the N’sync one is one of my holiday favorites! Glad to see someone else likes it too!

Same here!
Janelle @ Run With No Regrets says
Great picks! That *NSYNC music video is so cheesy and low-budget but I still love it! Holiday music just makes you feel happier no matter what!
kookyrunner says
Haha I agree! The music video was awful but JT can do no wrong in my book haha
Marcia says
I’ve been really bad so far about getting some holiday music on my playlist. That Mariah Carey song is everywhere right now!
kookyrunner says
That Mariah Carey song just screams Christmas to me. It’s such an old song but I always find myself dancing when I hear it.
Jennifer @ Fit Nana says
Omigosh, I have not thought about that Run DMC song in AGES!!! LOL I also like that Mariah song. Some of my favorites include Elmo singing Do you hear what I hear with Rosie O’Donnell (don’t judge me), anything by Mitch Miller (my all time favorite song EVER is Must Be Santa), and Santa Baby. 🙂
kookyrunner says
I just remember it when I was going through my holiday playlist the other day! It’s such a fun song.
I also love Santa Baby 🙂

I have so many songs, but I love Mannheim Steamroller for working out. I created a new list this year, but it’s not getting a lot of use since I haven’t been running.
kookyrunner says
I’ll have to look up Mannheim Steamroller!
Coco says
Love the DMX single! So fun!
kookyrunner says
Hahaha me too! It makes me laugh so hard!
Kathryn @ Dancing to Running says
All I Want for Christmas is my absolute favorite pop Christmas song. I could listen to it on repeat all day long!
