Happy Sunday! I hope that everyone had a great week. I’m definitely in the midst of a crazy season at work so I’m back to 10 hour days (minimum), and working out is helping me to keep my sanity 🙂
Here’s how my workouts went this week:
Monday, February 27
Warm Up Walk 9/15/22 – Susie (10 minutes)
Saturday60: Pop Bootcamp 2/23/23 – Jess (60 minutes)
Core Strength 1/27/23 – Emma (5 minutes)
Guns N’ Roses Ride 2/26/23 – Charlotte (20 minutes)
Melbourne at Night Ride (10 minutes)
This was a great Saturday60 bootcamp class – challenging but I didn’t feel like I needed to be peeled off the floor at the end of it.
Tuesday, February 28
Pride 365: Walk 10/11/22 – Jeffrey (30 minutes)
Beginner Run 1/26/23 – Jess (20 minutes)
EDM Bodyweight Strength 2/25/23 – Adrian (30 minutes)
BHM Celebration Yoga Flow 2/26/23 – Chelsea (30 minutes)
We finally got our first real snow of the season. I think my city got around 4-6 inches, which was mostly melted two days later lol. Originally I had planned to go to OTF in the morning but I knew the roads would be a mess in the morning so I canceled that class before I went to bed on Monday night and opted for an indoor workout.
Wednesday, March 1
Gospel Walk 2/28/23 – Kirsten (20 minutes)
Avignon Ride (20 minutes)
Grime Glutes & Legs Strength 2/22/23 – Jermaine (20 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness (30 minutes)
I really liked Jermaine’s glutes & legs class – I find his strength classes to be well structured. I also enjoyed the OTF template because it was more power focused with lots of sprints on the treadmill.
Thursday, March 2
Avenue of Giants Ride (15 minutes)
Vincentine Coast Ride (15 minutes)
2010s Run 3/2/23 – Jess (30 minutes)
Flash 15 11/19/21 – Jess (15 minutes)
2010s Walk 3/2/23 – Jess (15 minutes)
R&B Yoga Flow 2/24/23 – Anna (30 minutes)
I decided to do a few more scenic rides to mix things up a bit. Jess was teaching at 7am again so I was able to take her two live classes. Those are always fun because of all the high fives you get during a live class.
Friday, March 3
Kylie Minogue Ride 3/2/23 – Erik (30 minutes)
Kylie Minogue Walk + Run 3/2/23 – Susie (30 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – 2,000m Benchmark Row (60 minutes)
The Kylie Minogue classes were fun! She has such great upbeat music.
I was time for the dreaded 2,000 meter benchmark row at OTF. Literally everyone hates this benchmark but it’s great practice for the upcoming Dri Tri. I will probably never beat my PR from February 2020, but I was happy to beat my times from last year. I’ll take that as a win, especially after basically doing a whole class before the benchmark. For some reason the class was a 3G, so I started on the floor, then the treadmill and then the rower. It’s definitely not ideal to try for a PR after working out for 45 minutes (I still have no clue why they broke out the class like that).
Saturday, March 4
Kylie Minogue Ride 3/2/23 – Leanne (30 minutes)
Kylie Minogue Walk 3/2/23 – Jeffrey (30 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness (60 minutes)
Jeffrey and Leanne were the perfect choices for these Kylie Minogue classes because of their upbeat personalities. Both classes were a blast. OTF blessed us with more rowing for this template – I was not amused, lol.
Sunday, March 5
Kylie Minogue Arms & Shoulders Strength 3/3/23 – Marcel M (15 minutes)
Kylie Minogue Core Strength 3/2/23 – Matty (20 minutes)
Flash 15 12/3/21 – Jess (15 minutes)
Tina Turner Ride 3/5/23 – Benny (20 minutes)
Kylie Minogue Cool Down Ride 3/2/23 – Sam (10 minutes)
Kylie Minogue Yoga Flow 3/2/23 – Mariana (30 minutes)
Finished off the Kylie Minogue Artist Series classes today. Matty’s core class was pretty hard but I loved all the variety of core moves that he fit in just 20 minutes. Mariana’s yoga flow was just what my body needed today after a week of crazy workouts.
This week’s stats:
Bootcamp – 60 minutes
Cycle – 35.24 miles
Orangetheory Fitness – 180 minutes
Running – 12.3 miles
Strength Training – 120 minutes
Peloton Artist Series Classes – 948/951*
*not including rowing classes
Can you believe it’s already March? I know that February is a short month but still felt like it went by very quickly.
Things have been really nuts at work and things won’t really slow down until May but I just keep in mind that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thank goodness for my workouts because those really do act as a great stress reliever!
…and now for this week’s memes/funny tweets.
That’s it! I hope you had a great week 🙂
I’m linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.

I can’t believe your workout schedule with crazy work weeks.
Hope things settle down.
My cats sleep all day and go nuts at night.
Always appreciate a meme laugh

Thanks Darlene! Things are going to be a bit nuts for the next few weeks so I’m just taking it one day at a time.
Kimberly Hatting says
Sorry for the stressful week. My work week was its own kind of crazy as well (#KimTwinning). I have not tried any of the Kylie M classes, but I’ll take your suggestions 🙂
kookyrunner says
Definitely try some of the Kylie classes – they are a nice break if you’re going through a super busy time!
Jenny says
Wait. No. Is that wearable beanbag chair for real??? I think I might want one.
Most people would say “Work had been crazy so my workouts have taken a backseat this week” BUT NOT YOU. It seems like the more impossible things get, the more you do. I’m glad the workouts are keeping you sane!
kookyrunner says
It kind of looks like a bean bag chair right?! I started laughing when I saw it because it just looked so odd.
Oh I need my workouts to burn off the crazy – but I also like having a bit of a routine too.
Deborah Brooks says
I mean that bean bag!!LOL Way to get in so many workouts on such a hectic week with work. That OTF class sounds tough (they all do!)
kookyrunner says
OTF has been killing me lately and I don’t know if it’s the workouts or if my body is just sick of the workouts lol
Debbie says
Wow, you had a great week of workouts despite a crazy work week. Go Kim!
That beanbag thingy is funny.
kookyrunner says
Thanks Debbie!
I actually might research that bean bag thing a little more, lol.

Hugs on all the craziness of work, Kim. Makes me feel like a sloth. That’s wonderful that you beat last year’s times!
I had a lot of tech issues this week with a variety of things, that representative thing hits home — although at least they were actually helpful!
kookyrunner says
Thanks Judy! Virtual hugs are always appreciated 🙂

Wow, you really took all the Kylie classes… I liked her back in the day… I’ll have to schedule these in once the challenges that I am participating in are over.
kookyrunner says
The Kylie classes were a great distraction for me last week – very fun and light classes, especially Leanne’s ride.
Jenn says
OMG. I need that wearable bean bag.
You rearlly pack n a lot of workouts iin your day. i am always amazed by how much you get done!
kookyrunner says
I feel like we all want that wearable bean bag chair. I need to do more research on it lol
Coco says
OMG on the “representative” meme. Pretty sure that was me calling my bank this week.
Oooh, I didn’t see Charlotte’s GnR ride — I might try to fit it in this week.
Good luck with work!

Whenever i have to contact customer service, I always see if their is an online chat option because I hate using all the prompts on the phone lol.
The German instructors are releasing new Artist Series rides every Sunday. i think the next one is Coldplay.
Wendy says
I know how you feel about your workouts–my workdays are crazy but if I get a workout in, I’m all good! Nice week for you.
I’ll take one of those bean bags!
kookyrunner says
The workouts definitely keep me more centered if that makes sense.
