Happy Sunday! I hope that everyone had a good week. My week started off a little rough as I felt super tired Monday and Tuesday. Luckily by Wednesday I started to have more energy. This weekend also kicked off Hell Week at Orangetheory Fitness. My goal is to take all 8 classes from October 24-31 – wish me luck!
Here’s how my workouts went this week:
Monday, October 19
Peloton 2010’s Bootcamp 10/17/20 – Jess (60 minutes)
Always good to kick off the week with a hard sweaty workout. I won’t be able to take the #Saturday60 live for a few weeks but I will make sure to work it into my weekly workouts because it’s my favorite class.
Tuesday, October 20
Peloton Hamilton Run 10/15/20 – Matty (30 minutes)
Peloton Hamilton Ride 10/14/20 – Robin (30 minutes)
I really enjoy both of these classes and I always like when I can get a mix of both cycling and running. Fun fact: I’ve never seen Hamilton but I do enjoy the music from the play.
Wednesday, October 21
Orangetheory Fitness – Power (45 minutes)
Peloton Alicia Keys Ride 10/13/20 – Irene (30 minutes)
This was the first morning when I woke up and didn’t feel super tired, finally! It’s a good thing I wasn’t sleep since I had a 7am OTF class. It was a power day workout which meant harder, but shorter durations of exercises for each block. I really enjoyed the class and my legs felt pretty good during class. I was also able to fit in a 30 minute cycle class once I got home.
Thursday, October 22
Peloton Advanced Full Body Bootcamp 2/15/20 – Jess (60 minutes)
This was a “fun” class..I use that word sarcastically, lol. I’m still making my way through all of Jess’ 60 minute bootcamp classes. Most of the ones I have left to complete are advanced which is just a code word for ‘holy sh*t what is this’. I also had an appointment with my ART doctor – I usually see him twice a week. He really worked on my upper back and left IT band since both have been wonky since my virtual half marathon last weekend.
Friday, October 23
Peloton Punk Rock Run 10/16/20 – Chase (20 minutes)
Peloton Hip Hop Ride 10/18/20 – Kendall (30 minutes)
Peloton Cool Down Walk 11/27/18 – Chase (10 minutes)
This was an interesting line up of classes, but super fun. Every now and then I like to listen to rock music so the 20 minute run was perfect. I was going to do another rock themed run but my IT band area was super sore from the day before, so I opted for a hip hop ride. The playlist was really good – I actually bookmarked it to take it again at a later date.
Saturday, October 24
Orangetheory Fitness – PaROWnormal Activity (45 minutes)
Peloton Afrobeats Ride 8/20/20 – Tunde (20 minutes)
Kicked off day #1 of Hell Week with ‘PaROWnormal Activity’. The whole class was hard but the rowing block was a special type of hell. I did a quick 20 minute cycle class once I was back home. I won’t be doing any intense Peloton classes (bootcamp, long runs, etc) from now until Halloween due to Hell Week, but I’ll probably either do a stretch or a quick ride to stretch out my legs every day.

Yes, I’ll be wearing a Halloween themed shirt for each Hell Week workout.
Sunday, October 25
Orangetheory Fitness – ABdominable (45 minutes)
Peloton Steve Martin Yoga Flow 10/25/20 – Kristin (30 minutes)
I was shocked that the ab dolly didn’t make an appearance today, but we made up for that with burpees and 100+ reps of core exercises. Today’s workout felt easier than Saturday’s class but my shoulders are SO sore for all of the rowing and different exercises.

Throwback to last year’s Hell Week shirt
Total Weekly Mileage: 13.8 miles
Summary: 7 runs*, 4 cycle, 2 bootcamp, and 3 OTF/strength/HITT classes.
*I include running from my OTF workouts, boot camp classes and stand alone runs.
Peloton Artist Series Classes Progress – 156/156
Grade This Week β A
As I mentioned earlier, the week started off rough but I felt like I finally found my groove again towards the middle of the week. I think I may have had some leftover fatigue from the virtual half marathon last Saturday. My body is already feeling the burn from Hell Week and I still have 6 more classes to go – next week should be super fun, lol. But I will say that with all of the craziness of this year, it does feel nice to do something “normal” and I’m glad that OTF is still able to have Hell Week.
On the work front, Friday was my manager’s last day so that day was a total rollercoaster but we had a great group call that day and it went well. I know that we’re going to continue to stay in touch so I’m not worried about that, but it will be odd to no speak to her every day during the work week. The next two months should be super interesting but I’m just going to keep working on my projects and try to close out the year on a positive note.
…and now for this week’s memes π Thanks to Zenaida for sending most of these to me!
That’s it! I hope you had a great week π
Iβm linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.
In Case You Missed It
Tuesday Topics: Running Anywhere in the World
oh so love your memes. My mom still cleans here groceries so that one is going right to her! If anyone can crush hell week it’s you! Way to go on finishing all the artist series classes
I stopped cleaning the groceries a few months ago but with numbers going up again I’m wondering if I should start again!
I love seeing your Halloween tops β youβre always festive no matter the season. I think Iβm so anxious about everything I canβt even identify what Iβm worrying about. At least Hell Week will give you plenty of opportunity to burn off some stress. π
Thanks Coco! I’m oddly looking forward to Hell Week just for that reason. It will give me something crazy/funny to focus on this upcoming week.
I get a lot of my holiday shirts form Party City and Old Navy – I can always find fun stuff there!
Happy Hell Week Kim! I sure hope that ab dolly makes an appearance soon, what would hell week be without it? Haha! Omg those memes! My MIL walks around in purple rubber gloves as if they give her total Covid immunity. It’s hilarious!
I have a suspicion that I’ll be seeing the ab dolly very soon, lol.
agree with the other commenters that you have the best festive wardrobe! You must have a stuffed closet – is it organized by holiday??
Hell Week sounds intense, good luck!
I have a plastic bin that holds my holiday shirts, but I may need to upgrade to a larger bin soon lol
Haha, that ventriloquist meme! And I used hand santizer somewhere recently that smelled like tequila, lol! I commented that I needed a lime and salt.
I would do Hell Week just for the shirt! I feel like every week is Hell Week at CrossFit, lol. Good luck!
LOL at the hand sanitizer!
Mad props for working out at all the week after your half! Two weeks out I think I’m close to 90%. Happy Hell Week!
Thanks Beckett!
Good luck with Hell Week. I don’t know how you do it! So impressive.
Always look forward to your memes!!
We’ve had super weather…dreading the ice and snow. Even considered buying a spin bike. I really was hoping this Covid would end and I could go back to my gym
2020 feels like hell year so I’m hoping hell week won’t be too bad, lol.
Glad youβre feeling better! Those Hell Week shirts are total perfection, and I love that you have to earn them π Good luck this week!!
Yup! The best part is going through all the crazy classes to earn the shirts π
2020 really does need to pull over…I will walk! Haha!
I’m living vicariously through you in terms of OTF hell week. Since I won’t be able to go back until the new year. Which really sucks. I miss it. I feel like that’s how I got injured though- doing so many sprint workouts. So I have mixed feelings about all of this haha.
I will definitely get out of the car and walk, lol. I know it has to be hard not going back to OTF for a while, but just know that you’re gonna crush it once you’re back!
I hope you realize that now that you have mentioned the ab dolly it will definitely be making an appearance before this week is over LOL! I know you’re going to do great this week!
And, thanks as always for the memes – that margarita one speaks to me π
LOL I know! I should have kept quiet about the ab dolly, haha.
it’s great that you can still do hell week this year! Hope things go well at work with all the changes. Love all the memes!
Thanks Lisa!
omg, the ventriloquist one. Not cleaning my groceries, but that one is a hoot too
Glad you’re feeling better
That was my favorite meme too, lol.
Another great week for you! Impressive!!
I forgot to add to my post that I took two of Chase’s Latin Run class and I LOVED them. They’re 20 minutes and for sure I will take them again. The music is so good.
Chase’s runs are always so fun – glad you enjoyed them!
Glad you were able to find your groove, Kim. Everything is tiring these days! Good luck with your OTF workouts this week.
As always, your memes make me laugh & I need that right now!
I’m happy that the memes can supply you with much needed laughs π
Oh, I will join you for a hand sanitizer margarita. If drinking through this is wrong, I’m not sure I want to be right.
Hell Week always sounds so intimidating! You’ve got this!
I think I am going to blast Hamilton on my ride tomorrow. I think it will help me feel better about cycling instead of walking.
I am not generally a meme person but that stress ball one is awesome.
Sorry about your manager leaving already. π I hate change like that… it sounds like you have her support, you trust her, and now you have no idea what will happen going forward. Hang in there. Maybe Hell Week helped distract you? π
