Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a great week. It’s definitely starting to feel like Christmas here due to the nice colder weather and storefront holiday decorations.
Here’s how my workouts went this week:
Monday, December 5
Mariah Carey Run 12/2/22 – Jeffrey (30 minutes)
Mariah Carey Two for One Ride 12/2/22 – Cody & Emma (30 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness (60 minutes)
Both Mariah Carey classes were great but Jeffrey’s run put me in such a good mood. I just love his whole personality and he was a big ball of fun during the whole run. I’m convinced that OTF is trying to kill us with these 12DaysofFitness classes. My calves were still sore from Saturday’s class so the high inclines on the treadmill felt extra brutal.
Tuesday, December 6
Holiday Ride 12/4/22 – Emma (30 minutes)
Saturday60: Advanced Full Body Bootcamp 11/12/22 – Jess (60 minutes)
Cool Down Walk 9/1/22 – Jeffrey (10 minutes)
Holiday Post-Run Stretch 12/3/22 – Jon (10 minutes)
Another week, another Saturday 60 boot camp. The advanced ones always make me question my life choices, lol.
Wednesday, December 7
Mariah Carey Run 12/2/22 – Kirsten (30 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness (60 minutes)
Mariah Carey Yoga Flow 12/2/22 – Ross (30 minutes)
Both Mariah Carey classes were so good! Love the playlists and the message. For OTF it was a “switch” day which meant quick hits at each station. It was nice because it made the class go by faster.
Thursday, December 8
Holiday Warm Up Run 12/3/22 – Jermaine (5 minutes)
Full Body Bootcamp 1/28/20 – Jess (30 minutes)
Core Bootcamp 3/10/20 – Jess (30 minutes)
Holiday Ride 12/6/22 – Cliff (20 minutes)
Holiday Cool Down Ride 12/2/22 – Benny (10 minutes)
Holiday Meditation 12/8/22 – Nico (10 minutes)
Holiday Yoga Flow 12/8/22 – Nico (15 minutes)
Loved this stack! I am using up the rest of my PTO this week and next week (I took off Thursday/Friday this week and Monday/Tuesday next week) so I had little more time for workouts. I’m trying to hit a bootcamp milestone by the end of the year so I need to incorporate more bootcamps from now through the end of the month. All of the holiday classes were great, especially Cliff’s ride and the yoga class.
Friday, December 9
Holiday Run 12/3/22 – Hannah F (30 minutes)
Core Strength 12/8/22 – Jess (10 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness (60 minutes)
Mariah Carey Full Body Strength 12/4/22 – Jess (30 minutes)
Hannah’s holiday run was hilarious. She’s such a great story teller which made the class fly by. I really enjoy Jess’ 30 minute strength classes. I tend to do more of her 15 and 20 minute strength classes, but I love the way she designs her longer strength classes.
Saturday, December 10
Sportfreunde Stiller Run 12/7/22 – Tobias (30 minutes)
Holiday Cool Down Run 12/6/22 – Kirsten (10 minutes)
Sportfreunde Stiller Core Strength 12/7/22 – Marcel M (20 minutes)
Sportfreunde Stiller Ride 12/7/22 – Mayla (30 minutes)
Holiday Post-Ride Stretch 12/6/22 – Cliff (5 minutes)
I have never heard of Sportfreunde Stiller but I always do the Artist Series classes so I gave these classes a try. Now do I know that they are saying since they are speaking in German? Absolutely not (lol), BUT I did find myself enjoying at least 3 of the songs during the classes – I may just download those songs!
Sunday, December 11
Holiday Walk + Run 12/4/22 – Tobias (30 minutes)
Power Walk 12/1/22 – Jess (15 minutes)
Holiday Bike Bootcamp 12/5/22 – Callie (30 minutes)
Kane Brown Ride 12/7/22 – Kendall (30 minutes)
Kane Brown Arms & Shoulders Strength 12/7/22 – Logan (20 minutes)
I’m still doing Robin’s #3for31 challenge but I wanted to get most of my miles in by walking, as opposed to running, so these classes did the trick. Everyone knows I’m not the biggest country music fan but the Kane Brown classes weren’t half bad!
Summary:
Running – 22.3 miles
Cycle – 34.54 miles
Bootcamp – 120 minutes
Strength Training – 80 minutes
Orangetheory Fitness – 180 minutes
Peloton Artist Series Classes – 891/897
It was a busy, but good week. I’m glad I have a few days off this week and next week to finish up holiday shopping and run errands. I much prefer to get stuff done during the week vs the weekend if possible because the stores and parking lots are just jammed every weekend.
…and now for this week’s memes/funny tweets.

It NEVER ends up being a “quick call”

This is truly my work energy right now lol
Thanks to Deborah for sending me so many funny ones this week!
That’s it! I hope you had a great week 🙂
I’m linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.

The last two memes are great.
Visiting NYC really got me into the holiday spirit.
I have NO time off…. but my choice.
I take it off during the year.
Hope you have a great holiday and enjoy your free time.
NYC is always so beautiful during the holidays!
Yes, I’m very envious of your PTO! I can see you’re using it wisely. And yes- I can see how a 60 minute bootcamp with Jess would make you question your life choices. Love the memes- I’ll definitely be using that last technique next week when both kids are home.
I normally don’t use any PTO the first 4 months of the year since that is when I am the busiest, so then I try to space it out the best I can the other 8 months of the year lol
I’m glad you’re able to take some time off at this time of year!
I really like that I can go grocery shopping early before the stores are crowded!
Seriously, I question my life choices on the rare occasions I do a 60 minute bootcamp too. But I don’t do them every week, or even every month, every 3 months . . . and so on, LOL!
Thanks Judy! It’s nice to take a few days off earlier in the month since I work the week between Christmas and New Year’s.
I usually do my food shopping between 7-9am and I wouldn’t have it any other way, lol.
Looks like a great week of workouts for you again!!! It’s nice you had some time off too.
I’ve noticed the strangest thing when I tweet out your post–immediately after, I get hit with a couple new follows from women who look like porn stars. I always block them, but I wonder if I trigger something when I tweet. I think I’m going to have to avoid tweeting your post for a while. Twitter has gotten so weird!!!
Eww – That is horrifying! Yes, definitely don’t tweet my posts for a while. I hope it’s not something bizarre going on with my blog that is attracting that?!?
Nice work, #KImTwin…especially with those artist series! I need to check-out the bootcamp classes, I never think to look for them when I’m stacking my workouts (the evening prior). I do so many of the strength and cycling workouts, it’s tough to squeeze in the other stuff (I know, bad excuse, LOL).
I think you would like the bootcamp classes – try a 30 minute one to start!
Since I work part time I pretty much blow through my PTO by June! Oh well, that doesn’t stop me from vacationing 🙂 Enjoy your time off, it’s a great time to have some available!
Thanks Lisa! I’ve been pretty busy but I feel like I’m knocking things off my t0-do list so that makes me happy.
Hah! I love the last meme. You did a great line up of classes. I loved Hannah’s run. I will have to check out Cliff’s ride.
Hannah’s class was so much fun! I’m really going to like her on the tread.
Ha I just read Wendy’s comment lol. Anyway, another great week for you. I think I am going to try some run classes this week so I am going to take a few of your suggestions. You have so much variety! Glad you are getting some time off and hope it does wonders for you.
For sure! Definitely try some of the run classes while you’re in Aruba.
That looks like a very good training schedule for you this week! I loved your memes, especially the first one – NOTHING is easier to explain on the phone than in an e-mail! And the last one was hilarious!
The memes were definitely very relatable this week, lol.
Fantastic week Kim! I always marvel at how you do both Peloton and OTF workouts!
Glad to see you taking some time off from work. I’ve got some PTO coming up as well and I can’t wait – that 2023 problem meme is 100% me right now LOL
The 2023 meme is 100% me. I want to “circle back in January” for everything, LOL
I hope you’re having a great time during your days off!
The dog nativity is hilarious! I love the greyhound angel.
LoL the dog nativity made me laugh out loud!
OMG yes on the 2023 problem. I kicked the can down the road already from the gala, but now I’m doing that one.
They need to fix the preload glitch so I can do the Mariah ones. Perfect for Christmas
I keep hearing about the pre-load glitch for the app – I really thought they would have fixed that by now!
So sporadic, and on the most fun classes too. It better not get Matty’s holiday class because I so want to do that.
I love going in my closet with wine to wrap gifts. It’s just the best.
Some classic memes there! Because of the postal strikes (which I fully support) I got all organised nice and early this year. Helped by our local indie bookshop now existing – I bought books and their own vouchers / book tokens for all my friends! We have a not so secret santa exchange in my book group on Sunday (meet up and swap) / Monday (zoom opening as not everyone can meet up) so that will get me in the festive spirit! Well done on all your exercise and hope your last preparations for Christmas go well.
