Happy Sunday! I hope that everyone had a great week. Here’s how my workouts went this week:
Monday, March 21
Bootcamp Warm Up 3/16/22 – Rebecca (10 minutes)
Saturday60: Advanced Full Body Tread Bootcamp 3/19/22 – Jess (60 minutes)
Cool Down Walk 10/20/21 – Marcel (10 minutes)
Hip Hop Upper Body Strength 3/17/22 – Adrian (20 minutes)
#nevermissamonday! If I miss the doing the Saturday60 bootcamp live, I always like to do it on Monday morning. It’s a nice way to start off the workweek. The hip hop upper body strength class was good. It was a little repetitive, but I liked all the moves that Adrian selected.
Tuesday, March 22
Helene Fischer Run 3/19/22 – Marcel M (30 minutes)
Helene Fischer Ride 3/18/22 – Benny (30 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – Power (45 minutes)
Bodyweight Strength 7/14/21 – Jess (10 minutes)
Spent some time in the morning with two of the instructors in Germany to finish off the Helene Fischer Artist Series classes. Really enjoy the power style workout at OTF too.
Wednesday, March 23
Warm Up Run 6/11/21 – Andy (5 minutes)
Rock Bootcamp 5/2/21 – Andy (45 minutes)
Low Impact Ride 4/30/21 – Sam (30 minutes)
Reba McEntire Pilates 3/23/22 – Kristin (20 minutes)
I had this bootcamp bookmarked for a while so I decided to finally take it. It started off a little rocky but progressively got better. The low impact ride with Sam was perfect and just what I needed – it also had a great playlist.
Thursday, March 24
Reba McEntire Run 3/23/22 – Matt (20 minutes)
Women’s History Month Ride 3/23/22 – Mayla (30 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – Endurance (45 minutes)
I have to admit, I wasn’t exactly excited to take the new Reba McEntire Artist Series classes but the run with Matt wasn’t that bad! Also I forgot that I used to watch reruns of Reba’s sitcom back in the day, so I recognized one of the songs because it was the theme song to the show, lol. We had an endurance style workout at OTF called The Chipper – you basically start off with high rep counts and then “chip away” at them throughout the block. It was pretty fun!
Friday, March 25
Reba McEntire Run 3/23/22 – Jeffrey (20 minutes)
Bootcamp: Full Body 5/1/21 – Selena (45 minutes)
Reba McEntire Full Body Strength 3/23/22 – Selena (20 minutes)
I got a very late start to this workout after logging off work. The bootcamp was actually awful. She did the same 9-minute EMOM for both sections of the strength portions. I’ve never had a class where that has happened before and I was kind of annoyed. I ended up doing my own EMOM for the second strength portion. The instructor also wouldn’t stop messing with her hair for the entire first tread block which was supper distracting as well. Overall it just wasn’t a good class.
Saturday, March 26
Reba McEntire Ride 3/23/22 – Jess K. (30 minutes)
Rock Ride 3/24/22 – Emma (30 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – Power (60 minutes)
I didn’t enjoy the Reba ride too much but the Rock ride was great. I was in the mood for that type of music and Emma did a great job with the playlist. Orangetheory Fitness is now collaborating with Steve Aoki on custom playlists. This has been hyped up for a few weeks since Steve is a very well known famous DJ. I’m familiar with Steve as I used some of his songs for my playlists when I used to teach spinning, but the playlist he designed for the OTF class didn’t resonate with me – not enough hype songs and I didn’t feel motivated. Most of the feedback from members hasn’t been great – some members hated it and some thought it was just okay. I think it’s great that OTF is trying something new, but it sounds like there are a few issues that still need to be worked out. He’s doing a playlist a month so hopefully April’s playlist will be better.
Sunday, March 27
My Mixtape Ride 5/2/21 – Jenn S (60 minutes)
Glutes & Legs Strength 8/4/20 – Jess (10 minutes)
Women’s History Month Full Body Strength 3/25/22 – Callie (20 minutes)
Celebrated my 900th ride with an older 60 minute class from last year’s Homecoming. The playlist had a little bit of everything which I loved.
Summary:
Running – 16.48 miles
Cycle – 36.81 miles
Strength Training – 100 minutes
Bootcamp – 150 minutes
Orangetheory Fitness – 150 minutes
Peloton Artist Series Classes – 547/547
…and now for this week’s memes.
That’s it! I hope you had a great week ๐
Iโm linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.

Congrats on your 900th ride! And you took a long one to earn that badge. Is Jeffrey a German instructor? I donโt recognize the name. I did Mattโs Reba run โ not sure Iโll try the other classes. With her hosting the Oscars I canโt help but wonder if the collaboration is meant to get more people to tune in to that? OR maybe I think too much of Peloton. ๐
kookyrunner says
Thanks! I figured I should pick a longer class to celebrate the milestone, lol. Also I had that class bookmarked for a while. Jeffrey is a German tread instructor – he’s still relatively new.
I think you have a point about the Oscars – I didn’t even think of that!
Jessie says
I didn’t know you used to teach spin! How fun. Would you ever do it again?
Great week Kim! So dedicated to the Peloton badges ๐

I taught for about a year at LA Fitness many years ago. I don’t think that I would go back to teaching – I much prefer taking classes vs teaching lol.
Wendy says
Congrats on 900 rides!! What will you do when you hit 1000? I hope they give you a shout out!
Have a great week!
kookyrunner says
For 1,000 I will take a live class and hopefully get a shoutout!
Cari says
Just moo indeed.
Congratulations on 900. Glad you survived Reba ๐ I shockingly forgot to do it wednesday. bad Cari!
kookyrunner says
That cow tweet is still making me laugh, lol.
Let me know what you think of the Reba run!
Jenny says
Ha ha… I’ve been working on my sleep schedule but that meme is still me. Love it.
You had a great week! Just out of curiosity… how do you pick your classes for the week? Do you do a whole overview of the week and plan it out, or do you decide the night before what you think you need/are in the mood for? You do so much- I’m wondering how you organize it all.
kookyrunner says
I’ve also bene working on my sleep schedule – it seems decent for a few days and then it’s right back to crap lol.
I used to plan out my Peloton classes for the week, but haven’t done that in a while due to the extra hours I’ve been working for my job. Now I plan my workouts the days before. I usually aim for one day a week of no running – that’s a rule I always stick to. Other than that, I just try to make sure I get in a good mix of cardio and strength.
Michelle says
I can so relate to that Squidward meme lol!
Huge congrats on your 900th ride! That’s awesome!
kookyrunner says
Thanks Michelle!
Kimberly Hatting says
You are so good (and disciplined!!) about taking all the artist series. I seem to be hit and miss (mostly miss, LOL) on them. I can usually find a few to bookmark, but have a tough time keeping track of all the available ones. Congrats on #900!!
kookyrunner says
Thanks Kim!
Darlene S. Cardillo says
900 rides. Wow! Awesome. You are disciplined with your workouts.
My sleep is awful lately!,
kookyrunner says
Thanks! I’m looking forward to hitting my 1,000th ride, hopefully by the end of the year.
Chocolaterunsjudy says
Sounds like a mixed bag this week, Kim. But the important thing is you’re moving your body! That’s got to help counter act the stress of work.
kookyrunner says
Oh totally! If I didn’t workout I would probably snap at someone at work and I can’t do that, lol.
Debbie @ Deb Runs says
Congrats on completing your 900th Peloton ride! And hey, now that I’ve taken two Peloton classes I have a face (and personality) to put with your mention of taking Emma’s class. ๐
Have a great week, Kim!
kookyrunner says
Thanks Debbie! I hope that you will try a few other Peloton classes next time you get a chance ๐
Jenn says
Your memes slapped today! That’s exactly how I feel. About my sleep and about cows!
I’m sorry that not all the workouts were fabulous! You very rarely seem to dislike a segment, so I’m sure it will be a while before that happens again.
Great week!
kookyrunner says
The cow meme was so funny to me – I laughed at that one a few times.
Liz Dexter says
Well done on your 900 milestone! And your reviews of all the classes you take are so useful.
kookyrunner says
Thanks Liz! I’m glad the reviews can be helpful!
Marcia says
Congrats on 900 rides. I can’t even imagine. Awesome! I dislike when they repeat long EMOMs as well. So boring! I’m dragging my feet on the Reba classes. Not my favorite music ever. Haha!
kookyrunner says
Right? It was super boring and just seemed kind of lazy of the instructor to do that
Shathiso says
I actually wish I was a cow today! I seem to be struggling with everything adulting this week! So sorry about Friday’s awful boot camp class. There’s nothing worse than preparing yourself for a workout session, only for it to disappoint!
kookyrunner says
Sometimes adulting is just hard! Hope that this week is better for you.
