Happy Sunday! This is a busy race weekend so good luck to everyone and congratulations to everyone racing! I’ll be spending most of the day watching NYCM on TV and tracking a few friends on the app.
Don’t you just love when a new month starts on a Monday? It seems kind of crazy that we have already hit the last two months of the year but here we are!
Monday, November 1
Reykjavik Run – Jess (30 minutes)
HIIT Cardio 9/28/20 – Jess (10 minutes)
Bodyweight Strength 9/15/21 – Marcel (20 minutes)
Sundays with Love Ride 10/31/21 – Ally (30 minutes)
Hills & Hills Ride 9/4/21 – Mayla (20 minutes)
Lower Body Stretch 8/13/21 – Erik (10 minutes)
The Reykjavik run was simply beautiful! I love the scenic runs because they feel like a mini vacation and they give me new ideas of places to visit. Based on that run, I would love to visit Iceland one day. I also love that they have more sheep than people, lol.
Tuesday, November 2
Ed Sheeran Warm Up Run 11/1/21 – Jermaine (5 minutes)
Saturday 60: Pop Bootcamp 10/23/21 – Jess (60 minutes)
Ed Sheeran Core Strength 11/1/21 – Ben (5 minutes)
UK BHM Celebration Ride 10/29/21 – Cliff (30 minutes)
Ed Sheeran Low Impact Ride 11/1/21 – Bradley (20 minutes)
Full Body Stretch 6/18/21 – Erik (10 minutes)
I am glad that there were a few new Ed Sheeran classes as I love his music. I haven’t done a Saturday60 bootcamp is about 3 weeks so I was long overdue to take one. The playlist was great and the class overall wasn’t too painful. I still have to modify/use lighter weights and I was easily able to do this for the class.
Wednesday, November 3
Orangetheory Fitness – Power (45 minutes)
Hike 10/28/21 – Jess (30 minutes)
The Jess King Experience 10/29/20 – Jess K (30 minutes)
HIIT Cardio 10/30/20 – Jess (10 minutes)
Power Yoga 9/8/21 – Nico (20 minutes)
Maybe it’s because I had a few days off from OTF but this class was an absolute winner. I literally loved everything every single thing about the class and in talking to a few other members, they felt the same way. It was one of those rare times when everything gels together with the template.
Thursday, November 4
HIIT Run 10/5/21 – Marcel (20 minutes)
Arms & Shoulders Strength 7/25/21 – Erik (10 minutes)
Core Strength 9/16/21 – Erik (20 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – ESP (45 minutes)
Full Body Stretch 4/17/21 – Erik (10 minutes)
I’ve been taking a few classes with Marcel and I really like his energy and playlists. Granted, I don’t know what he’s saying because the classes are in German, but I can always follow his cues. OTF was great but unfortunately there was an error with the class time on the app so I had to leave class early because I had to be back home for a work call. It was a bummer because I missed the final row block which looked really good!
Friday, November 5
The Jess King Experience Ride 11/5/20 – Jess K (30 minutes)
Bodyweight Strength 9/10/21 – Erik (15 minutes)
Core Strength 8/1/21 – Erik (15 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – ESP (45 minutes)
I had the day off work so I was able to book an OTF class with a coach I haven’t taken in forever. It was great because I love his classes but the time that he coaches doesn’t gel well with my schedule.
Saturday, November 6
Core Strength 11/6/21 – Callie (10 minutes)
Warm Up Walk 11/3/21 – Marcel (10 minutes)
Advanced Saturday60: Full Body 10/16/21 – Jess (60 minutes)
The Jess King Experience Ride 11/12/20 – Jess K (30 minutes)
I noticed it was time for my 500th strength class so I hoped on a live 10 min core class with Callie. I got a shoutout so I was happy and the class was good too. I’ve missed the last few Saturday60 bootcamp classes so I’m still trying to catch up!
That’s it! I hope you had a great week š
Iām linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.

Oh the ziplock one – classic!! I love Iceland, I ran my first marathon there and have been four times in total. I really NEED to go back. I am sad I don’t have the full Peleton thing, just the app, so couldn’t experience that. A good week again, well done!
kookyrunner says
how fun that you ran your first marathon in Iceland! I bet it was gorgeous too.
Wendy says
Haha, I almost sent that organic chemistry meme to my son!
Did you learn any German from Marcel! :p
kookyrunner says
I’ve learned a handful of words in German so I still have a long way to go lol
Jenny says
Sounds like you had a great week once again! It’s funny that you mentioned it because it did make me strangely happy that November started on a Monday.
I have a friend who went to Iceland a couple years ago, and her pictures were incredible. She confirmed that it was just as amazing as it looked. Very rainy though- she said you just have to wear your rain gear and not let it bother you.
Ha- I like the November calendar!
kookyrunner says
I don’t know – for some reason I just love when the start of a new month coincides with the start of a new month.
Funny you should mention the rain in Iceland because the instructors also mentioned that during the scenic classes.
Kimberly Hatting says
Okay, the November and Ziplock memes are #Perfection. I can’t tell you how many cereal messes we had (practically daily) when the kids were little. Even our son, as he got older, would eat cereal as a snack…so, yeah. On many occasions, I just dumped a lot of the cereal into a Ziplock bag on my own. Anyways, another great week for you! Congrats on the 500th strength class!!
kookyrunner says
Lol, right?! Especially the Ziploc one – like why hasn’t this happened yet??
Michelle D. says
OMG that November calendar meme!
Awesome week for you! Congrats on your 500th strength class!
kookyrunner says
The November calendar meme is so relatable!
Coco says
Congrats on your 500th strength! I was confused by your comments about Marcel because I have been liking Marcel Dinkins ā what a coincidence to have two instructors with such an unusual name.
Are you doing all the Jess King classes too? I havenāt tried that class format.
Love the November calendar!
As a chemistry major, Iām really confused by that crying one. (J/k)
kookyrunner says
I actually thought to myself that I need to include letter for his last name as to not get confused with the other Marcel, lol. It’s so odd because that’s definitely not a common name!
Right now I’m working my way through the Jess King Experience rides from last year since she started the new season for that series last week. i use them more as ‘easy’ rides since they are more music based and fun – definitely not PR type of rides.
Deborah Brooks says
ha oraganic chem yes! You are brave to take the classes in German! Maybe I should give that a try. As usual, love your variety of workouts this week. Nice job!
kookyrunner says
The German classes aren’t too bad once you get used to their cues. I still get confused but I really like Erik and Marcel’s personalities. I do wish that Peloton would offer English subtitles to make the classes easier to understand.
Black Knight says
Another great week, brava!
Iceland is on my wishing list. Some years ago I was planning to participate in the half marathon of Reykiavik but I had to give up for an injury.
Great November calendar!
kookyrunner says
Wow I didn’t know that Reykiavik had a half marathon! That’s something I should consider – I bet the course is beautiful.
Marcia says
Your workout stacks are so impressive Kim! I runfess i’ve already considered putting some work stuff off until at least after Thanksgiving. Haha!
kookyrunner says
Thanks Marcia! Right now I’m just trying to get through the next two weeks and make sure I finish up as much work as possible so I can actually enjoy my time off!
Cari says
I generally don’t mind lack of treadmill, but want to do one of the scenic ones on one — that and Matty in costume.
OMG, that November calendar. So true.
Funnily enough, my HS reunion is always that “blind drunk” weekend and while I have no desire to go, I also think maybe now that we’re in our 40s and some people don’t come ‘home” for Thanksgiving either because their parents no longer live here, they host or whatever reason we can find another reunion option?
Congrats on the solid week and yay being able to do a class you can’t typically
kookyrunner says
Next time you have access to a treadmill I definitely recommend Matty’s Halloween run – I still laugh when I think about it LOL.
Cari says
and I’ve only seen one of his Mara ones. I’m clearly missing out in some respects. Should later this month so will keep you posted. May also try to organize a birthday live workout š
Judy @ Chocolaterunsjudy says
Iceland is actually high on my list of places I want to go! Alas, it’s very expensive. I have a HS friend who married (and then got divorced from) a guy from Iceland — so she’s been a lot. Someday . . .
Thanks for the memes, Kim, as always, I needed a laugh this afternoon!
kookyrunner says
I figured it would probably be an expensive place to travel too š But like you said, someday!
Jenn says
Again, you are just crushing it!
Trick or treating pretty much is set for dusk. we didn’t get our first kiddos until about 6:15. We were all inside and done by 8:30, though, so it didn’t rage on too long.
kookyrunner says
Thanks so much Jenn! It’s so interesting to see the trick or treat times for different parts of the country. One of my friends in Cleveland said they didn’t have any trick or treaters after 5pm!
Darlene S. Cardillo says
500 classes. So impressive In fact how dedicated you are to working out is amazing. Iām in awe each week.
Love the memes. ESP the ziplock one and the calendar. Keep them coming.
kookyrunner says
Thanks! Exercise really helps with my mental health so I love it!
Lisa @ TechChick Adventures says
OMG, that calendar is legit. I get inspired to travel places by watching House Hunters International! I pretty much say I want to visit every country they show on there!
kookyrunner says
Totally agree about the calendar lol. I used to watch House Hunters International and had the same reaction as you!
