Happy Sunday! Since Christmas is next week, it definitely felt like crunch time this week. There were a few gifts I had to make sure to order online by Tuesday to guarantee they would get here by Christmas. Also a lot of people at work are taking off the last 2 weeks of the year, or just the week between Christmas and New Year’s, so everyone is trying to tie up projects, etc. Plus I was off work on Monday and Tuesday, so I was playing a bit of catch up – it’s been a busy time!
Monday, December 13
R&B Walk 12/21/20 – Chase (20 minutes)
Run + Core Treadmill Bootcamp 8/1/19 – Jess (30 minutes)
Queen Ride 12/10/21 – Erik (30 minutes)
Queen Full Body Strength 12/9/21 – Ben (20 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Upper Body Strength 12/6/21 – Rebecca (15 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Glutes & Legs Strength 12/13/21 – Selena (15 minutes)
Queen Yoga Flow 12/8/21 – Ross (30 minutes)
I had to go to the post office to drop off my holiday cards so I decided to walk there to get in mileage for the #3for31 challenge. I made up the rest of my 3 miles in the bootcamp class. I really enjoyed all of the Queen classes, especially the upper body strength class. Peloton released more of the stacking stuffers classes today, including some really cool rides and strength classes. Looking forward to diving into those the rest of the month!
Tuesday, December14
Queen Ride 12/8/21- Kendall (30 minutes)
Full Body Bike Bootcamp – Cody (30 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness 10/14/20 – Power (45 minutes)
Queen Run 12/9/21 – Jermaine (30 minutes)
I really enjoyed Jermaine’s Queen run. During the class he said that when he was first hired he said he wanted to do a Queen run so it’s pretty cool that he was able to make that happen so soon after being hired at Peloton.
Wednesday, December 15
Stacking Stuffer: Core Strength 12/13/21 – Ben (15 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – ESP (45 minutes)
Bootcamp: Arms & Shoulders 9/26/19 – Jess (30 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Climb Ride 12/6/21 – Camila (15 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: HIIT Ride 12/6/21 – Olivia (15 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Standing Yoga 12/13/21 – Chelsea (15 minutes)
OTF was pretty good – the treadmill block consisted up inclines, sprints and steady pace runs. The floor block had a lot of power movements. I also knocked out a few more stacking stuffer classes. The standing yoga class was great! I did it later on in the evening and it provided a nice stretch.
Thursday, December 16
ABBA Run 12/15/21 – Becs (30 minutes)
Cool Down Walk 7/7/19 – Selena (10 minutes)
ABBA Bike Bootcamp 12/15/21 – Cody (30 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Low Impact Ride 12/13/21 – Hannah C (15 minutes)
ABBA Core Strength 12/15/21 – Matty (20 minutes)
ABBA Yoga Flow 12/15/21 – Aditi (30 minutes)
I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the ABBA classes, and I noticed how many ABBA songs have been sampled by other artists that I enjoy too.
Friday, December 17
Holiday Classics Walk 12/6/21 – Jermaine (20 minutes)
Hip Hop Bike Bootcamp 10/12/20 – Jess (45 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – Strength (60 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Yoga Flow 12/13/21 – Nico (15 minutes)
Jermaine’s classes always put a smile on my face, so when you combine that with holiday music, you can’t lose. I had some major internet connection issues during the bike bootcamp class which sucked but I still got in a good workout. Whoever designed the template for the OTF class must have been in a bad mood. The entire floor block was all arms – and 80% of the moves were with dumbbells. The other 20% of the move were with the mini bands and my arms were on fire by the end of the block.
Saturday, December 18
ABBA Ride 12/16/21 – Hannah (15 minutes)
ABBA Ride 12/16/21 – Leanne (30 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Low Impact Ride 12/13/21 – Matt (15 minutes)
HIIT Cardio 12/18/21 – Callie (10 minutes)
Saturday60: 2000s Bootcamp 12/18/21 – Jess (60 minutes)
Cool Down Walk 8/4/19 – Selena (10 minutes)
Leanne’s ABBA ride was awesome – she’s just such a ray of sunshine! I hit the 100 class milestone during the HIIT Cardio class and got a shoutout from Callie. It was also a nice warm up for the Saturday60 bootcamp. It was the last Saturday60 class of the year so I was happy I was able to take it live.
Sunday, December 19
Stacking Stuffer: Hike 12/13/21 – Rebecca (15 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Power Walk 12/13/21 – Matty (15 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: Hike 12/6/21 – Marcel (15 minutes)
Bodyweight Bike Bootcamp 9/29/20 – Robin (45 minutes)
Stacking Stuffer: HIIT Barre 12/6/21 – Ally (15 minutes)
I had an appointment for my Covid booster shot at 9, so I knew I wanted to workout before going to that. I also knew I didn’t want to run or lift any weights so I opted for a few powerwalks to get in my mileage for #3for31 and a bodyweight bike bootcamp.
Total Weekly Mileage: 17.8
Summary: 8 runs*, 8 cycle, 7 bootcamps, 4 yoga and 10 OTF/strength/HIIT classes.
*I include running from my OTF workouts, boot camp classes and stand alone runs.
Peloton Artist Series Classes Progress – 472/476
I’m still going strong with all of my December challenges, but I will be happy when the challenges are over for the month, lol. Jus a reminder that the 12 Days of Fitmas is still going strong – join us!
Peloton also released their annual year-in-review called The Cooldown. It takes your personal stats from December 1 2020 – December 1 2021 and puts it all together in a cool video. I kind of wish they would have waited until January to pull stats for all of 2021, but I was still pretty happy with my stats.
…and now for this week’s memes
That’s it! I hope you had a great week š
Iām linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.

Tuesday Topics: My Year in Bling?
Liz Dexter says
A strong week and some great memes! I am really hoping to have most of the next 2 weeks off, however, I have a long-delayed project I have a horrible feeling is going to hit. Fingers crossed I get it in Jan, though I have a week off then for my birthday later in the month. Anyway, Happy Christmas and stop tracking things, indeed!
kookyrunner says
I will keep my fingers crossed that your project doesn’t hit until January so that you can have a less stressful end to the year!
Wendy says
HAHA that is my kind of omelet! I have to start baking today. Thankfully my cookies aren’t too involved. Glad to see you are getting all your workouts in. I remember last year Strava jumped the gun with the year’s stats, just like Peloton did for you. I don’t understand that at all!
All 3 of my partners are off the next 2 weeks. How does that even happen? I work part-time and the way Christmas fell, I don’t need to take any time off. I could have…but still. I’m covering for everyone. #onceanursealwaysanurse
kookyrunner says
Wow I didn’t know Strava did that as well. It just seems weird because if you want a year in review, you need the whole year to be over first, lol. I’m also working the next two weeks (but have off on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve). My entire team is out next week, but it’s fine because I took time off over Thanksgiving and last week.
Coco says
Oh, Yes, please, on that last one! Someone emailed me yesterday about something that could be due Tuesday or could be due Jan 21. I voted for the latter!
You hit it out of the park with your Peloton workouts. I have a few more Queen classes to take and definitely plane to do Leanne ABBA ride.
kookyrunner says
At this point anything work related is a January problem, lol. Let me know what you think of Leanne’s ABBA ride – I thought it was super cute!
Deborah Brooks says
LOL on the omelet! The stacking stuffers are great. You just reminded me to try Chelsea’s standing yoga one. Way to fit it all in on a busy week at work. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
kookyrunner says
The omelet meme still makes me laugh. I hope you like the standing yoga class – it was great!
Darlene S Cardillo says
I do love ABBA. And thanks for the card. Happy holidays to you and your family.
Congrats on your workouts. So impressive.
You post the best memes, They always make me smile.
kookyrunner says
So glad the memes make you smile. I figured we could all use a few laughs this week leading up to Christmas.
Happy Holidays!
Jessie says
Wow- I guess I didn’t realize that you do more than 2 hours of classes per day! WOW. You are dedicated. What time do you get up in the morning š I guess it helps that you are working from home! Those are definitely my best workout days too, ha!
I have that stacking stuffer standing yoga ready to go, I’m excited! I’ve enjoyed the other stacking stuffers so far, they have all been really efficient but solid!
kookyrunner says
2 hours is my sweet spot, but honestly it’s only because I work from home so I have extra time at the start and end of the work day. Before that, I was doing 45-60 mins a day. It’s probably too much, but it’s just my routine now, lol.
I hope that you enjoyed the standing yoga stacking stuffer class!
Kimberly Hatting says
The omelet meme is spot-on! I did the ABBA ride this morning with Leanne š I’m really loving the Stackers! They’re a super efficient use of time. My holiday cards are finally getting written and will go out tomorrow…I’m waiting until I lose my daylight to do those, LOL (like, after my full moon run).
kookyrunner says
I was so pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the ABBA classes!
Michelle says
A big yes on that last meme! There are some things that can just wait until after the holidays – or at least that’s what I keep telling people LOL
Thanks for the heads up on Chelsea’s standing yoga class – I really liked it and will probably repeat it. I was on the fence about the ABBA classes, but you’ve convinced me to give them a go.
Great job this week getting it all done!
Merry Christmas to you and your fam!
kookyrunner says
Totally! Anything work related at the moment is a January problem, lol. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I actually liked the ABBA classes. I treated them more as “fun” classes so I didn’t push the pace or cadence that much.
Hope you have a very merry Christmas!
Lisa @ TechChick Adventures says
Yay on getting your booster! I have been putting mine off, but I’m getting it on my calendar for January now. I will be out of town the last week of December and I have to work a little more this week to fill in for my coworker. I guess it’s a fair deal. I’m still shocked my boss gave me the approval to take the week off! haha
Have a great week!
kookyrunner says
Glad that you will be able to get your booster next month. I had to wait longer than I would have liked but still thankful I was able to get it!
Jenny says
Hee hee! All the memes are hilarious, but especially the “omelet.” You really had a great week, and have inspired me to check out some of the “stacking stuffer” classes- I don’t want to miss them!
Yep, it’s going to be a crazy week. I keep thinking, if only I didn’t have to go to work, I would have plenty of time to get everything done!
kookyrunner says
The omelet meme is amazing and I think I’ll actually make this type of omelet next week, lol. I hope that you enjoy the stacking stuffer classes!
Judy @ Chocolaterunsjudy says
Hope you felt better after your booster than I did, but I feel much better today, thankfully. I did come home and do a strength workout that day because I knew it would take a while for the reaction to kick in and moving that arms is supposedly helpful (didn’t much help the painful arm, though).
I love ABBA! I’m looking forward to a functioning treadmill again — inclines & everything — so I’m appreciative of everyone sharing the workouts they enjoyed.
I hope this week is fairly calm for you, Kim!
kookyrunner says
I am glad that you are feeling better post-booster. I felt pretty good on Monday – still had a sore arm though. Other than feeling a little tired for a few days, it wasn’t too bad.
It will be so great when you can take some of the Peloton treadmill classes once you can use your treadmill!
Marcia says
Love your peloton recap! You totally slayed the year with your workouts! Hmmm I runfess I may have enjoyed an “omelette” like that one. Haha!
kookyrunner says
Thanks so much Marcia!
Black Knight says
Glad you got your booster after a strong week of activities.
All the memes are hilarious, my favorite is the Grinch one.
Have a great week!
kookyrunner says
I love the Grinch meme too, lol.
Debbie @ Deb Runs says
You had another great week of workouts. Way to keep it up during this busy season!
HaHa, I’m going to be making a variety of healthy omelets later today. Yep, it’s cooking baking day!
kookyrunner says
Haha I love “healthy omelets” š
Jenn says
Strong week!
We had a few gifts fall through, so now I am trying to get everything wrapped up. Fingers crossed!
kookyrunner says
Oh no! Sorry that a few of the gifts didn’t work out but I know you’ll get everything wrapped in time!
