Happy Sunday! I’m halfway through the OTF Transformation Challenge and I’m still feeling good! My body felt less beat up this week – probably because I had a nice active recovery day in the middle of the week. I have my mid-way weigh-in tomorrow morning so I’m hoping to see some good numbers on the scale. I’m not concerned about the number but I hope that loss body fat and gained muscle.
Here’s how my workouts went this week:
Monday, February 10
Orangetheory Fitness – Endurance (60 minutes).
I’m all about #nevermissamonday but I probably could have missed this class, LOL. This was a tru endurance day with a hard treadmill block. We used the BOSU on the floor which was nice because we don’t use that piece of equipment too often.
Tuesday, February 11
Orangetheory Fitness – Strength (60 minutes).
It was Tutu Tuesday at my studio so I found this cool tutu on Amazon so I could participate. I’m not a tutu girl but I love to take part in the spirit days at my studio because they are fun. The class had a lot of run/row blocks which I absolutely love!
Wednesday, February 12
Powerwalk (45 minutes).
I used this as my active recovery day. My leg were pretty beat up from all of my workouts and runs so this was very much needed!
Thursday, February 13
Orangetheory Fitness – ESP (60 minutes).
Burpees! And more burpees! LoL This was also my first class with the newest coach at our studio, Jess! She was an awesome sale associate so I knew she would be a great coach and I was right. I hope I can take more of her classes in the future.
Friday, February 14
Orangetheory Fitness – Endurance (60 minutes).
Happy Valentine’s Day! I loved getting in a good endurance workout on Valentine’s Day – it’s not like I had plans, LOL. We had a lot of switching during the class so it was hard to keep my heart rate up, hence the lower splat points and calories, but I still got in a great workout!

I saw this on Instagram and it made me LOL
Saturday, February 15
Peloton Cycle (30 minutes) + Powerwalk (30 minutes).
Originally I wanted to go for an outdoor run, but it was -4 degrees when I woke up so that wasn’t gonna happen. I could have run on the treadmill but I really wasn’t feeling that option, so I decided for a cycle and PowerTalk combo.
Sunday, February 16
Orangetheory Fitness – Power (60 minutes).
When I take class on Sunday it’s always a 3G class which means you spend equal time on the treadmill, rower and floor. I usually start on the treadmill for the 2G classes but today I wanted to switch things off and start on the rower. Of course today we started with a 1,000 meter row followed by 100 jumping jacks – hopefully that gives you an indication of how crazy the class was!
Total Weekly Mileage: 8.7 miles
Summary: 5 runs*, 2 cycle classes, 2 Powerwalks and 5 OTF workouts
*I include running from my OTF workouts and stand alone runs as well.
Grade This Week โ A
Not a lot of running this week, but I’m okay with that. I started coming down with a cold on Thursday. I don’t really get sick often so I can’t complain. It was really just a sore throat and a lot of nose congestion. Saturday was probably the worst day but it seems to be passing as of today. I’m just glad that it was short lived.
On Wednesday I signed up my mom and I for Peloton Homecoming Weekend this Spring. It’s a fun 3-day event where you can participate in a community outdoor fun run, take a cycle, yoga or spinning class in the studio, shop a warehouse sale and attend seminars. We missed it last year so I wanted to make sure we got tickets this year. I had the alarm set on my phone so that I could log onto the website as soon as tickets were available!
That’s it! I hope you had a great week ๐
Iโm linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.

Ok Iโm totally jealous of the homecoming weekend already. Itโs not a good date for me but I am going to have serious fomo!! Those OTF workouts look seriously tough! Wondering if you felt better on your run after you warmed up on the rower. ? Thanks for linking up
Awwe I was hoping that you would be at Homecoming but totally understand! Today I did the row, then the floor and then the treadmill, so I was a little tired by the time I hit the treadmill. I’ll need to see if I can do floor, treadmill then row next time.
You are killing the OTF! Way to go!!! You are so lucky you and your mom can do fitness activities together. I love that. Good luck with your weigh-in. Oh, and you rock the tutu! ๐
Thanks so much Laurie. Yeah I love that my mom and I can workout so much, she loves fitness as much as I do!
“Weights before Dates”! Haha, what a fitting Valentine shirt!
You’re doing so well with the OTF Transformation. I’m sure your body fat/muscle percentages will be great.
Nice that you like your new coach, Jess. It makes such a difference to a class!
haha thanks! I got the shirt from Old Navy a few years ago and it’s one of my favorite shirts in my “holiday” collection.
Totally agree – a great coach makes all the difference!
I’m so sorry you had a cold, but glad it didn’t seem to last long. I rarely get them, but when I do, they last forever!
That Peloton Homecoming sounds like a ton of fun — enjoy!
Can’t wait to hear how the WI goes. I haven’t been able to get to a WW WI yet this month — stupid weather. ๐
Thanks Judy! I’m feeling about 90% back to normal now so I’m convinced that the cold is on its way out.
I’m super excited for the Peloton Homecoming! I don’t really know what to expect since it’s my first one but I heard great things about the event from last year.
Great workouts this week!! I get exhausted just reading about them. Very impressive. More impressive that your mom will be joining you for some classes!! Hope you are feeling all better soon.
Thanks Lisa! Yes, I’m lucky that my mom loves fitness as much as I do ๐
I Love Love Love reading about all your OTF success! Hey, I could have made you a tutu…let me know when you need another ๐ That’s great you and Mom are doing the Peloton Homecoming! Sounds like a great weekend!
You are a woman of many talents – I had no clue you could make a tutu, LOL
Such a fun week–OTF sounds so much fun! I saw that meme on IG and it’s on my desktop as we speak, lol! Have a great week!
LOL I love that the meme is on your desktop!! ๐
What a strong week! You are so committed. It’s so cool that you and your mom get to workout together so much and keep each other motivated!
Thanks so much Jessie!
Oh, that Peleton event sounds great! My priest told me today sheโs just earned her 100th ride t-shirt (she uses a Peleton at her gym)! I would have to modify a 100 jumping jack workout. My calves would take revenge and give me PF. I hope your check-in reflects all your hard work!
I love that your priest has a Peloton bike – that’s so awesome!
Great job this week! Sounds like it was smart to stay indoors on Saturday since you weren’t feeling great anyway. I’m sure you are going to have great results from all these OTF classes you have taken!
Thanks Lisa! Yeah the weather on Saturday was just way too cold – I didn’t want to deal with that on top of not feeling 100%!
Ugh colds. I’ve noticed that since I increased my running a few years ago that I rarely get sick, not sure if it’s a coincidence but I will take it. Saturday was awful here and it was a day where I just couldn’t get my head around going outside or the treadmill. Go away winter!
Same! Ever since I started exercising regularly, I don’t get sick too often (knock on wood).
This OTF challenge sounds tough! Glad your cold seems to be short lived.
Thanks Hannah – I’m feeling about 90% right now so the cold is definitely on it’s way out.
Another great week of OTF workouts! You’ve been so dedicated that I’m sure your results will be good.
Hope your cold doesn’t stick around!
Thanks Michelle! I was pleased with today’s results. I still have some work to do but I’m up for the challenge!
I’m feeling 90% back to normal today – thank goodness!
Love the sound of the Peloton Homecoming event. So fun!
Your tutu is adorable and the Weights Before Dates tank is perfection! You are rocking it at OTF and you should be so proud of yourself!
Thanks! I’m really looking forward to the event and connecting with other people.
Glad you liked the tutu – it took me some time to get used to it, lol.
Wow, way to commit on your OTF workouts! I’m sure you will see the results you’re looking for since it looks like you’ve been doing solid workouts. That’s wonderful you and your mom get to spend time together being active ๐
Thanks so much Elaine!
I hope you are feeling better. Being sick sucks. The Peloton Homecoming Weekend looks like it will be lots of fun. Can’t wait for you to go and tell us about it. I am impressed with all of your workouts. Great job!
Thanks! I’m really looking forward to the Peloton Homecoming weekend too
I was wondering how OTF structures their workouts…so far I’ve had a power day (wednesday last week), and a special Valentine’s Day workout. Then today was ESP. Reading your blog, I guess it goes endurance, strength, power, ESP? I’m trying to figure out when I’m gonna hit the strength class haha!
They mix it up all the time. All I know is that each day is totally different which is what I love because I get bored easily, lol
great week Kim!! and homecoming week sounds amazing! I wish we had OTF here by the way, not sure that will ever happen…
Thanks Renee! Hopefully OTF will be available in more countries soon.
