It’s the fifth Tuesday of the month which also means it’s FREE Tuesday! Today I’m focusing on Girl Power songs!
Sometimes a girl just needs a powerful “Girl Power” song. Women are strong and powerful and I appreciate any song that speaks to this! The first artist that comes to mind when thinking about girl power is Beyonce.

There’s a really great girl power song by Halestorm (the lead singer is Amy Adams). Called “I am the Fire”, it has powered me through many a tough run!

Run The World definitely gets me moving! Speaking of ‘girl power’ songs, my 3 yr old requested to listen to Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. I was a little surprised since I don’t remember playing this song for her but I guess I did – kids do have the best memories!
