Father’s Day is right around the corner! I don’t know about you, but I always struggle to find Father’s Day gifts for my dad. It can be hard to find the perfect gift since men tend to be less vocal when it comes to giving gift ideas. Here are a few of my favorite gift ideas for the male runner in your life!
NipGuards
We have all had to deal with chafing at one point during a run. Unfortunately the most common place for men to experience chafing is on their nipples. NipGuards to the rescue! This product works better than vaseline or bandaids as it will not slip off. Hooray for no more bloody nipples!
Sunglasses
Although it’s technically Spring, the temperatures are rising. The official start of summer will be here before you know it! It’s so important to protect your eyes while running. Hook up your male runner with a great pair of running sunglasses. Two of my male runner friends recommended Nike and Oakley.
Running Sneakers
Well, duh! What guy wouldn’t appreciate a new pair of running sneakers? If the guy in your life is running a Fall marathon, he might start training soon (if he hasn’t already). New sneakers would be an awesome Father’s Day/Marathon Training gift.
Unique Workout Gear
Sarah Marie Design Studio has awesome gifts for runners, including shirts with really funny phrases. Here are a few of my favorite’s from her Father’s Day collection.
I’m linking up with Annmarie from The Fit Foodie Mama, Jen from Pretty Little Grub and Nicole from FitFul Focus for Wild Workout Wednesday.
I’m also linking up with Rachel from Running on Happy, Susie from Suzlyfe, Lora from Crazy Running Girl, and Debbie from Coach Debbie Runs for Coaches’ Corner!
Do you have any Father’s Day gift ideas for runners? Let me know in the comments section!
Lisa @ Mile by Mile says
I wish my dad was a runner because I think it would make it easer to find him a gift! But he does go to the gym so usually I can come up with something. These are great ideas!

Me too! My dad doesnt run but he works out every now and then so I might get him some workout tanks from Old Navy.
Amy Powell says
These are great ideas! My hubby has running tank tops on his list this year. It has been hot, hot, hot!

Those shirts would be a perfect gift for him!
Deborah @ Confessions of a mother runner says
Those are hilarious t shirts now if only my hubs ran lol 🙂
kookyrunner says
LOL, i love those shirts. I believe they are unisex so you could always get one for yourself!
AmyC says
If I get my dad a running shirt that says “Run all the miles, eat all the loaded hotdogs” maybe he will start running 😉 Great ideas for running dads!
kookyrunner says
LOL that’s a really fun sounding shirt!
Wendy@Taking the Long Way Home says
Those Sara Marie shirts are funny! I know the nip guards are for men, but last week on my long run, I saw a woman running with very little support and I was thinking she probably could have used them. I know I shouldn’t have been staring but it was one of those things–I couldn’t look away. Maybe that was the idea?
kookyrunner says
I love the Sara Marie shirts, I need to purchase a few!
LOL – There’s no rule saying the nip guards are only for men!
Janelle @ Run With No Regrets says
These are all great ideas! I should have thought to get something like this for my brother!

My husband hasn’t run far enough to require nip guards yet. I owe him a pair or two of socks though!!
kookyrunner says
I’m sure he will love some socks 🙂
Kimberly Hatting says
My hubby is due for some new running gear (though he’d prefer power tools). Recently, he did one of our 10-milers (with my friend and I)…and what a bloody mess. I’ll just leave it at that.
kookyrunner says
Oh no 🙁 I’m sure that was not enjoyable for him at all!
Elaine @myRUNexperiment says
The shirts are hilarious! Too bad my husband isn’t a runner.
Guys are hard to shop for!
kookyrunner says
Totally agree – it’s easier to shop for a pet than a guy, lol
Janalyn Sullivan says
those shirts are hilarious! I love them

Me too! The shirts are unisex so women can wear them too!
Judy @ Chocolaterunsjudy says
