Welcome to another edition of Tunes Tuesday! I’m thrilled to be hosting this link up with Janelle and Steff each week!
So let’s discuss random music. I’m a big fan of One-Hit Wonders. I know that it’s easy to make fun of these artists, but let’s give them a little credit! It’s hella HARD to break into the music industry, so even if you only have one hit song, good for you! Here are two one-hit wonder songs that are currently on my running playlist!

Great picks! It’s SO funny…I was watching videos a few weeks ago and came across that Jordan Knight song….the music video is so cheesy but the song is so catchy!
Did you ever see In Living Color make a spoofy of Ice, Ice Baby with Jim Carrey? It’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen!
Yeah the video is like all things that were wrong with the 90’s in one video – so cheesy but a really catchy beat!
I remember that sketch on In Living Color! Jim Carey is such a fool, lol
I LOVE THAT JORDAN KNIGHT SONG! Now I’m dancing to it in my head!
I was dancing along to it when I was writing up the blog post, lol
I had almost forgotten the power of Ice Ice Baby. A1A Beachfont Avenue! I grew up in Florida on the east coast, so this line reminds me of fun times. This might be enough to get me through the Georgia cold.
Ice Ice Baby is a song that’s always seems to make it’s way to my playlist, lol. I totally agree that good music can get you through runs in hard weather!
Hhahaha yes!! I feel like there were SO many one-hit wonders in the 80s and 90s and they are all so great!
Yes! We must respect all of the one-hit wonders lol 🙂
Oh I keep meaning to put Vanilla Ice on my list! BRB have to go listen to Jordan Knight… This is such a fun link up!
Thanks Sue! Vanilla Ice should always be on a playlist – who doesn’t want to do the Ice Ice Baby dance lol
Mmmmmm Jordan Knight!!! I am a HUGE NKOTB fan (I even went to a meet n greet and stalked their bus a few times at their concerts….).
That’s so awesome that you went to a meet and greet! I don’t think I know that doesn’t like NKOTB – they’re amazing!
