Happy Wednesday! It’s been a while (about a year) since my last installment for “Blogs I Love”. Blogging isn’t an easy job and I really like to support fellow bloggers whenever possible. That’s why, from time to time, I like to spotlight some of my favorite bloggers. Want to check out parts 1-3? Click here, here and here!
Drumroll please! Here are a few awesome blogs that I recommend you follow this year. These women are smart, funny and definitely inspirational. Enjoy!
Marcia is mom, runner, run coach, and overall awesome woman. Oh, and did I mention she has also completed the Boston Marathon and various international races as well? Marcia’s blog is a great mix of product reviews, race reports, training and various running topics. I also love her sense of humor and no nonsense attitude (it reminds me a lot of myself, lol). I am hoping to meet her in person when I do Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago this July!
Rachel is superwoman, seriously! I don’t have a clue how she does it all – mom, runner, run coach, “Kids Run the Nation” coach and link up queen extraordinaire. Even with all of that going on last year, she managed to PR the marathon not once, but TWICE. She also got a PR in a few other distances as well. I’m very much looking forward to meeting up with Rachel when I run the Cleveland Half Marathon in May! She’s currently dealing with a running injury, so stop by her blog and show her some love π
Want some inspiration? Then you need to follow Jessie’s blog! I was introduced to her blog last year and I was amazed at all of her accomplishments. This past November she ran the NYC Marathon and became an Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star Finisher. She’s also working on the 50 Marathons in 50 States Challenge. I had the pleasure of meeting Jessie in person the day before the NYC Marathon and she was such a sweetheart. She’s currently training for the Antarctica Marathon (yes you read that right, Antarctica)! I look forward to cheering her on virtually in all her future endeavors.
I was introduced to Lisa’s blog last year through the Coaches Corner weekly link up. Lisa has a ton of fabulous information on her blog when it comes to running, but I specifically like her emphasis on strength training. It’s nice to connect with another blogger that incorporates a good amount of strength workouts into their race training. Lisa was dealing with an injury last year and I was super impressed with how she handled everything. She’s a very positive person which is super refreshing!
I had the pleasure of meeting Janelle at two races last year and it was definitely one of the highlights of the year for me. She is smart, super relatable and very dedicated to running and her blog. I enjoy all of her blog posts because I feel like I always learn something new. I’m a big fan of her Running 101 series which features a variety of different running topics. She’s currently training for the New Jersey Marathon so stop by her blog and leave a few words of encouragement!
What are some of your favorite blogs?
I’m linking up with Marcia from Marcia’s Healthy Slice, Erika from MCM Mama Runs and Patty from My No-Guilt Life for Tuesdays on the Run.
I’m linking up with Annmarie from The Fit Foodie Mama and Nicole from FitFul Focus for Wild Workout Wednesday.
And last but not not least, I’m linking up with Rachel from Running on Happy, Lora from Crazy Running Girl and Debbie from Coach Debbie Runs for Coaches’ Corner!
Thank you so much for including me in this! What a great idea. I have met so many great bloggers through link-ups over the past year!
You’re very welcome Lisa! I’m a huge fan of your blog – if you couldn’t tell!
Love being introduced to new blogs! Thanks (even thought obviously some of them I already read).
Thanks Judy! I always hope that at least one blog will be a new find to someone!

Thank you so much Kim!!! Right back at you, very glad I found your blog this past year. Looking forward to staying connected and maybe meeting again in person in the future!!
You’re welcome Jessie!

Thanks San!
You hit the jackpot with your choices! Lots of great role models and fabulous running and blogging peeps π
I totally agree – they are all awesome runners and bloggers!
I love all these blogs. See this is why I can’t do a post like this, it would have about 50 blogs on it, including yours! I feel like we have such an awesome community of running bloggers and I’m honored to be a part of it!
But that’s why this is the 4th installment, lol. So many awesome blogs to follow!
I’m not familiar with Jessie, so I’ll definitely be checking out her blog. Thanks, Kim!
So glad you found a new blog to check out!
I’ve read most of these blogs at one time or another and I understand why you included them in this post! Some of favorite blogs to read are Kristina my @ Kristina Running , San @ The In Between is Mine, and Ana @ Mother, Hike, Run, Repeat. I have found is that running is what brings me to a blog but I also like reading about bloggers’ day to day lives and other interests like books, politics, music, etc.
Thanks so much for the 3 blog recommendations – I also read San and Ana’s blogs and will check out Kristina’s!
Some of my favorites as well! Love to find new ones to follow as well.

This is such a neat idea! Love it! And on that Antarctica marathon — that’s too cool. I read an article with my students about it a couple of years ago, but now I think it’s even more neat!
