Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Topics. This week’s Tuesday Topic: 2023 Mid-Year Review!. Remember to link-up with Kim and Zenaida and the bottom of this post.
Can you believe that we are already half-way through 2023? I feel like this year is flying by, especially the first 3 months of the year. Now that we have officially hit Summer, I’m already looking forward to the Fall because this humidity is killing me, lol.
As a reminder, here are the goals I set for myself back in January:
I have made good progress against my six Peloton goals.
1,300 Cycling Classes – COMPLETE!
I’m currently at 1,369 cycling class. I had no clue I had already hit this goal, lol. I must be doing more cycling this year than last year. I can probably reach 1,500 by the end of the year.
1,000 Strength Classes – IN PROGRESS
I’m currently at 883 strength classes so I am going to have to hustle to hit this goal but I still think I can do it.
800 Running Classes – IN PROGRESS
I’m currently at 710 runs so it looks like I’m definitely on track to hit this goal.
300 Tread Bootcamp Classes – IN PROGRESS
I’m currently at 279 tread bootcamps. This goal is a little tricky because the bootcamp classes are normally 30, 45 or 60 minutes long, so it takes a bit longer to hit milestones. I hope to have this goal completed sometime in the Fall – aiming for sometime in October.
400 Walking Classes – COMPLETE!
I’m currently at 421 classes so this goal is done. I have started doing more warm up and cool down walks this year so that’s probably why I hit the goal already.
After looking at all the stats, I have no doubt that I can the three remaining goals by the end of the year.
GOLD – All Monthly Challenges – IN PROGRESS
So far I have hit the Gold status for all the monthly challenges and I plan to continue that throughout the rest of the year.
My one Orangetheory Fitness goal for this year is to PR the DriTri. I fell short of this goal in March, but I hope that I can have a better performance in September. Fingers crossed!

What does it take to reach the monthly Gold status?

For the Peloton monthly challenges, you have to hit 150 miles for cycling, 40 miles for running/walking and 15 strength workouts to reach gold status.

Look at your crushing those Peloton goals! I did not cycle as much while I was running more. I suspect I will add to those this summer. Nice work friend! Can’t wait to see where you end up at the end of the year

It’s definitely hard to balance the cycling and running. If I were training for races, I know my cycling miles would be way less than they are now.
