Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Topics. This week’s Tuesday Topic: Your dream location for a run or race. Remember to link-up with Kim and Zenaida and the bottom of this post.
I haven’t traveled in a few years but there are definitely a few places – both in the U.S. and abroad – that I would love to visit for a run or a race. Here are a few of my top picks.
In the United States
– Atlanta, Georgia: I know it can get pretty hot and humid there, and that there are tons of hills, but I would love to run there.
– Seattle, Washington: One my best friends lives in Seattle and I have always wanted to visit the original Starbucks there, and a few other landmarks.
– Anywhere in Hawaii: My heart is breaking for everyone in Hawaii that has lost their home, business or loved ones due to the Maui wildfires. Hawaii has always looked like such a beautiful place. I hope they they are able to rebuild.
Non-U.S. Locations
– London, England: I would love to visit London again when I am not there for work so that I could run and explore different parts of the city.
– Anywhere in Italy: I kind of want to do an eat and run tour. Eat a slice of pizza, run a mile? I think that’s a fair trade!
-Toronto, Canada: The headquarters for my job is now in Toronto and they recently moved to a new office building, so I would love to check that out, meet up with some work colleagues, and go for a run.

I would love to run the London Marathon! I’m trying to get in for 2024, but I didn’t get in via the ballot system. And I don’t feel like paying USD 2’000 for an entry either…
But we’ll both manage to run a race there one day!

I think the London Marathon is probably the hardest WMM race to get into . Only one of my friends got in via the lottery and the rest had to fundraise.

I have a friend in Atlanta. I’d love to visit her and race.
Same with Seattle.
Alaska Hawaii are on my list.
Italy yes. London and Berlin. But not the marathons.
It’s nice to dream.

Alaska would be a great place to visit for a run too.

I hope you’re able to run in Toronto on one of your work trips there!
I suspect I may get severe heartburn if I was to run and eat pizza, but would be willing to give it a try! LOL!

I would probably have really bad heartburn top but I would still give it a try, lol
