Happy Sunday! I hope that everyone had a great week. We had another week of wind and rain but things are looking up because we’re supposed to have gorgeous weather for the next few days. I’ll be off from work for the next week so I plan on getting outside and enjoying it!

Monday, May 1

Saturday60: 2000s Bootcamp 4/29/23 – Jess (60 minutes)
2Pac Yoga Flow 4/27/23 – Chelsea (30 minutes)
RIOPY Meditation 5/1/23 – Aditi (10 minutes)
Denis released a new Sample That ride (formally Fresh Friday) – it was pretty good. The bootcamp class surprisingly didn’t feel too difficult, which is rare for a Saturday60 class, lol.
Tuesday, May 2
Mental Health Awareness Ride 5/16/22 – Erik (30 minutes)
Bootcamp: Bodyweight 10/9/19 – Jess (45 minutes)
Cool Down Walk 10/6/22 – Jeffrey (10 minutes)
Focus Flow: Hips 5/2/23 – Denis (10 minutes)
Peloton did a purge of some of their 2019 classes last week so I have been looking through all my bookmarked classes and trying to get through any 2019 classes. Jess doesn’t really do 45 minute bootcamps anymore so this was a nice treat. The focus flow hips yoga class was short but super efficient. My hips have felt SO tight the past few weeks – probably from a mixture of stress and not stretching enough – so the class really helped.
Wednesday, May 3
Orangetheory Fitness (60 minutes)
Intervals Run 11/17/20 – Jess (20 minutes)
Mood Ride: Grateful 5/18/22 – Leanne (20 minutes)
Bodyweight Strength 3/5/20 – Jess (20 minutes)
Another killer template from OTF – the template design team must have been in a bad mood when they designed this one, lol. I liked all of the Peloton classes, especially Leanne’s ride. Both the playlist and the ride were super fun.
Thursday, May 4
Core Strength 5/3/22 – Jermaine (10 minutes)
London Ride – Erik (30 minutes)
Extra 10: Walk 12/19/22 – Jermaine (10 minutes)
Run + Chest & Back Bootcamp 11/18/19 – Jess (45 minutes)
I decided to do a quick core workout before hopping on the bike. I think my body appreciated warming up my core before getting into the bulk of my workout. I’m really enjoying the 45 minute bootcamps so I’m going to try to get through all of the ones I have bookmarked.
Friday, May 5
Iceland Ride – Ben (30 minutes)
Hip Hop Walk 5/4/23 – Jess (15 minutes)
Orangetheory Fitness – 5×5 Specialty Workout (60 minutes)
The last time OTF had the 5×5 workout was in 2021, so it’s been a while! It’s a great workout – both on the treadmill and the floor – because it’s 5 blocks for each section. It’s a nice power workout with inclines and heavy weights for the floor block. I actually got new weight PRs for my chest press and low row moves, and my body was feeling it the next day, lol.
Saturday, May 6
Club Bangers Ride 4/29/23 – Alex (45 minutes)
Hip Hop Run 2/2/21 – Jess (20 minutes)
After running a few errands, I opted for a short, but sweet workout. I haven’t done a club bangers ride in a few months so I forgot how fun they can be!
Sunday, May 7
On tap for today is 45 minutes of strength training and a 30 minute ride. I am not going to OTF for my weekly Lift45 class, so I’ll be doing a 30 and 15 minute strength class to make up for it.

Anyone else love when a new month starts on a Monday? For some reason it gives me extra incentive to have a great month.
This was a catch up week for me at work. I had to put a few things on hold to get the project out the prior week. Of course my laptop decided to kick the bucket on Thursday morning so I had to put in a request for a new one. I’m hoping it gets delivered in the next few days. On Thursday and Friday I had to work using web based programs (Outlook, Sharepoint) from my personal laptop and it’s not the best. There are so many things I can’t do, but at least I was able to answer and receive emails.
On a more positive note, I’m on PTO this week and I don’t have too much planned right now. I’ll get in a few OTF workouts and run some errands, but honestly I just want to relax. I’m feeling really burnt out so I think I just need to chill out for a few days.

Nice week of workouts as usual! I’m glad you have a week off now- you definitely deserve it. I did notice that May 1st was Monday, and I liked that too. It makes no sense, but I did feel like it gave me extra motivation for the month ahead.

I hope you can regroup and get a lot of ‘me’ time this week while you’re off! I had laptop issues at work over the past month, but our IT dept didn’t really think it was a big deal–until I finally asked my manager to escalate my ticket. What a PIA! I wonder what they really do….

Solid week, #KimTwin! I haven’t done an Alex class in over a month (?), I need to cue him back up for a ride…he’s such a beast, but that’s what I love about him, LOL. I hope you have a nice week of relaxation…well-earned!
