Happy Sunday, and Happy New Year! I always feel like the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day always goes by in a flash, even though I’m never really sure what day it is, lol.
Work was actually pleasant this week since a lot of people were on vacation so I didn’t have to deal with a bunch of emails and nonsense.

I can’t believe this was the last Monday of 2021. Now I’m not a huge Taylor Swift fan, but as you know, I always do all of the Peloton Artist Series classes, so this was no different. There’s also a special badge for doing at least of the classes so of course I had to get that too ๐

The Live DJ run was so fun! I really like the energy between Adrian and DJ John Michael – it’s always a good time. The 60 minute bike bootcamp with Jess was no joke – that woman packs so much into those classes!

I didn’t really want to work out so I decided to do a little bit of everything to seep things interesting. I especially enjoyed the holiday party run and trap bootcamp classes. The playlists were great and it made the classes fly by!

I did a rare live run in the afternoon to celebrate 350 runs, and luckily it was with Jess Sims. Amazing playlist and just an overall fun class. I haven’t done a 20 minute bootcamp in a long time but it was just the with amount of running and strength training that I needed for the day. The pilates class was hard for me – I’m not great at pilates (trying to get better), so 30 minutes is a little long.

Happy New Year’s Eve! I had the day off of work so I ran a few errands in the morning so I could chill most of the day on Saturday. The walk + run with Jess was a really great class and I also enjoyed Daniel’s strength class too. I forgot how much I like his classes.

Welcome 2022! I surprised myself by staying awake until 1:30am – that’s super rare for me! I decided to do a little bit of everything to kick off the new year. I’m still working my way through all of the stacking stuffer classes. I’m not a huge fan of Jess King’s classes but her New Year’s Eve ride was a lot of fun.

I wanted to give my legs a break so no power walks, hikes or running today. It’s nice to stack the stacking stuffer rides because you get a little bit of everything. I couldn’t figure out why I kept getting hgih fives during Alex’s ride and once the ride was over I saw that it was my 800th ride – oops! I usually try to keep track of milestones but somehow I missed that one. I wasn’t a huge fan of the strength class as I felt it had too many long breaks – I guess I’m just used to getting tortured by Adrian and Jess, lol.

Congrats on your 350th run and 800th ride! I do want to do JKโs NYE ride if I can force myself to start a 45 min class. ๐ I love how Jess doesnโt waste time in her strength classes – it makes me resent anything longer than 30 sec rest in another class. Or instructors who wait until after a rest break to give a long demo โฆ.

Great week, KimTwin!! I have liked the stacking stuffers…gonna miss those when they disappear. Or will they still be available? I’m not much of a Taylor Sift gal either (though I did take the oldest daughter to a concert many years ago (stop laughing!). That said, the TS classes have all been good (at least the ones I’ve done so far).

I took a Taylor Swift yoga that was pretty good- I think that’s it though for me.

I like how, when you don’t feel like working out, you do seven Peloton classes (most people just go back to bed.). Congrats on your bootcamp a day challenge! You definitely don’t make it easy on yourself.
I’m going to focus on monthly goals for now… yearly goals sound way too daunting.

Great memes as ever! I had quite a good week and I’m doing RED January – not running every day but doing 10,000 steps per day (I hope – maybe an average per week!) and at least one yoga move every day. Achieved so far even if I’m behind on my blogs. I want to be able to run 10 miles comfortably again by mid-year, I think, but that’s about it. Happy New Year!

As always, thanks for the laughs. I’ve seen that last meme a long time ago, but it’s till so true. I should runfess I was actually interested in a course on something, so I deliberately searched on FB — hoping that I would start to get ads for those types of classes. So far, no luck!
I think the biggest things with goals is not getting overly attached to them. Use them to motivate, but be ok if you don’t achieve them. Holding on to anything too tight is never a good thing.

I runfess I did enough of the TSwift workouts to get the badge but they are not my jam either. Haha! The things we’ll do or a badge! Great workouts as per usual Kim and WTG staying up so late! I did as well and I still cannot believe it! Love that shipping meme!
