Happy Monday! It’s the 2nd to last Monday of the year. How did that happen?! Anyways let’s move on to another installment of #MusicMonday!
I’ll admit, I didn’t start to get into Steve Aoki until last year. I usually don’t like techno/house music but I do enjoy many of his songs and they have made their way onto many playlists last year and this year. The beats are pretty bananas and most of the songs are great when you need a boost of energy.

Another oldie but goodie is I’m in the House. I actually heard this song years ago but had no clue who the artist was so I never downloaded it. I finally found out last year and it quickly made the cut into my 5K playlist. I always try to push the pace (when I can) for a 5K so that playlist is full of songs like this – high energy and fast paced!
So Born to Get Wild features will.i.am – enough said! It’s not as fast paced as the other songs but it’s good for a hill workout for sure.
Rage the Night Away is a song that I use on both my running and lifting playlists. Sometimes lifting weights and doing strength training can get boring because you are doing a lot of the same moves over and over. It’s good to have upbeat music to keep yourself sane during those types of workouts!
Do you listen to Steve Aoki? Any favorite songs?

I have never even heard of this artist before…although my teen children probably have. These would be great running songs. I will have to look his stuff up on Amazon 🙂
