Welcome to another edition of Tuesday Topics! This week we have a FREE topic. so feel free to write about anything running related. My topic for this week? I’m reviewing the Buff Pack Run Cap!

When I think of summer running I primarily think of sun and sweat. Is there anything worse than sweat getting in your eyes during a run. Although I always wear sunglasses when I run, sometimes sweat still gets into my eyes, especially during humid runs. So what’s a runner to do? Make sure you run with a cap – the Buff Pack Run Cap!
I’ve used the cap for almost two weeks, on both runs and walks, and there’s so many things to love about the cap. Let’s discuss a few of the amazing features.
Super Lightweight
This is by far the lightest cap that I own. It only weight ONE ounce. Yes, you read that right, just one ounce. Every time I ran with the hat I actually forgot that I had it on. Even though it is lightweight, it didn’t fly off my head during one of my windy afternoon walks.
Cute designs/colors
How cute are these colors for Spring and Summer running? I’m actually thinking of purchasing the middle one in the photo below. They also have additional colors available under their Men’s line for this cap.
Adjustable
Sometimes I have a hard time finding caps that fit because I have a small head (I can get away with wearing Children’s caps sometimes). That’s why I love that the back of the cap has an adjustable elastic cord so that I can pull it to make it tighter.
Packable Design
When races resume, this would be an awesome cap to include if you’re traveling for a race. You can fold it up to a super small size, making it perfect to pack in a carry on bag.
Fastwick Fabric
This may be my favorite feature. The Fastwick fabric side panels wick away any moisture and improves breathability. In addition, the low profile sweatband keeps sweat from your eyes. During one of my more humid runs, my socks and clothes were soaked so I know I was sweating a lot, but nothing ever got into my eyes. This lets me know that the fastwick panels and sweatband work in super humid and hot conditions.
The only negative feature about the cap is that the care instructions recommend hand washing it. I normally throw all of my workout clothes in the washing machine so I was thankful I remembered this before I washed the cap!

Topic for next week – Your 2020 Mid-Year Review
This sounds like a great cap, Kim!
I never wear a cap and always get sweat in my eyes, especially if I do things like push-ups after a run. Perhaps now is the time to change that and get a Buff cap! Love the colours as well!
I love that the colors are so bright too!
That cap is cute, and I love all the colors/patterns on the others as well. I tend to prefer visors over caps (so I can pull my hair up, on top of my head), but I do like caps as well on occasion. The sweat band would be ideal this time of year!
I forgot to mention that this version comes in a visor option too!
That cap is just what I need. Unfortunately I already have sooo many. I run in caps all the time.
Thanks for the review.
Me too – I have a lot of caps, I probably need to retire a few of them, lol.
I love everything Buff–this looks like another great product! Really good review.
Me too – their products are so durable and last forever!
I’ve used Buff neck gaiters. I recently ran across this cap when searching for “cooling hat” (I got to thinking about how much I love my cooling towel & cool it SS clothes) — so it’s really great to read a review! This sounds like a great heat, KIm — thanks!
It seems like my blog was very timely then – I love when that happens! I have been using their neck gaiters for all of my outdoor runs so I can pull it up around my nose whenever I pass people on the street.
This looks like a really great option especially for traveling (whenever we get to do that again!). I am doing a post on summer running hats and I will have to add this to my list. i am going to get one and try it out. Great review
That’s great! Also I’ve been in contact with a few other BibRave Pros doing this campaign and they really like the caps too.
I like the cord in the back – I’m not sure I would have noticed it had you not pointed it out. I also have a hard-to-fit small head.
The adjustable cord is great – you can pull it pretty tight.
I never run with hats or sun glasses… can you believe it? This hat seems worthwhile to try out though!
If I didn’t run with sunglasses I think I would only be able to survive like 10 minutes outside lol.
I am a fan of BUFF products! Nice review Kim!
Thanks Michelle!
Great review and I love all those colours it comes in! I’m glad you said to Kim it has a visor option as that was going to be my comment too! I like that it folds up so neatly.
I’m actually thinking of purchasing one of the visors too because I just love how lightweight it is!
I’ve been wearing a hat on almost all of my runs when it is already sunny. I have to check the one I got from BibRave because I think it is a BUFF cap.
I think the one we got from Bibrave is the same one that I reviewed – super lightweight!
