Happy Tuesday! This week’s Tuesday Topic: What are your favorite recovery tools? You can write about this topic, or feel free to post any running related blog post. Remember to Link-up with Kim and Zenaida and the bottom of this post! I’m going rogue this week and discussing my love of Knockaround sunglasses.
I’ve been running with sunglasses for many years. Sure, they block out the sun, but they are also essential for your eye health, but not all sunglasses are the same. What makes Knockaround Fast Lane Sunglasses different? Let’s discuss!
–> These sunglasses are designed to look great on medium and larger face shapes. This works well for me and the shape of my face.
–> Knockaround sunglasses are FDA-approved and have impact-resistant lenses with full UV400 protection. The UV protection is so important to protect your eyes, especially with summer right around the corner!
–> Very durable and strong enough to deal with a fast-paced lifestyle. Basically, perfect for running!
–> Affordable! These sunglasses clock in at $20. I won’t even mention how much I spent on my other pair of sunglasses I use for running!
–> Lots of variety. These sunglasses come in 17 different colors.
After testing these sunglasses out for a few weeks, I can confirm all of the above! I wore these sunglasses for numerous outdoor runs and also for a race and they never slipped off my nose. That’s something I usually deal with when I get super sweaty and I’m happy to report that didn’t happen during any of my runs. In addition, they are super lightweight. Oftentimes I forgot that I was wearing them.
Although I do use the drawstring pouch that came with the glasses, I often throw them in my purse or gym bag. They are definitely durable as they haven’t broken yet and are still in one piece (lets hope that continues)! Also, you can’t beat this price point! $20 bucks for durable and fashionable sunglasses? That’s a win in my book! I think I will get the sunglasses in some fun colors for summer running (probably neon yellow and frosted blue ice).
These glasses aren’t just for running! I wore them on a sunny and windy day while sightseeing around NYC. Not only are they stylish, but they blocked out al the sun so that I could take photos without squinting.
Want to get a pair for yourself? Use code BIBRAVEKNOCKS1 (good until 4/18) for 20% OFF the entire order (limited to one use per user). Even better, be sure to participate in #BibChat on Tuesday, April 16th at 9:00pm EST for your chance to WIN a pair of Knockaround Fast Lanes!
Tell me: Do you run with sunglasses? If so, what’s your favorite style?

I almost always run with sunglasses. I wear contacts and my eyes are sensitive to sun and wind.
GOODRs are my favs. I am addicted to them.
kookyrunner says
I’ve never tried the GOODR sunglasses before but i know a lot of runners really love them.
Shathiso says
I don’t run in sunglasses because I haven’t found a pair that sits right! I do feel the strain on my eyes so I’ve really been on the hunt for some. I’ll have to look into these!
kookyrunner says
Definitely try to find a pair soon – it’s so important to protect your eyes, especially on those long runs!
Black Knight says
Interesting post. I run with sunglasses only in summer when my usual route is house-beach (11 km). For running I wear “Ironman” sunglasses.
kookyrunner says
Never heard of Ironman sunglasses – sounds interesting!
Laurie says
Those sunglasses are really cute! My hubby bought me a pair of fairly cheap sunglasses (about the same price as the Knockarounds) and I really liked them. I don’t remember the brand. They broke after a few years and I bought another pair of the same brand and style, but they are not as comfortable as the first pair. Disappointing! I may have to switch.
kookyrunner says
Finding a pair of sunglasses that fit properly is always a challenge!
Denise @ runheartfit says
I love those sunglasses and they look great on you! Can’t beat the price either!
kookyrunner says
Thanks Denise!
Wendy says
Those are really cute and stylish sunglasses! I love the low price.
kookyrunner says
Thanks Wendy! I’m looking forward to picking up a few more pairs!
Zenaida Arroyo says
Those are really cute sunglasses. Cannot beat the price either. I cannot run in sunglasses since I wear glasses but do not wear them for running. I don’t wear contacts either so bad eyesight and sunglasses is definitely not a good combination.
kookyrunner says
Right?! The quality of the sunglasses is really great for such a reasonable price point.
Deborah @ Confessions of mother runner says
Those are very cute and stylish. I like the price point bc you can have a few pairs and also not worry if you lose them! Thanks for the linkup
kookyrunner says
Agreed! And I tend to lose at least one pair of sunglasses every summer lol.
Chaitali says
Wow, that is a great price! I really like the Under Armour pair I have right now but I don’t think they make them any more so I’m sure I’ll have to find something else at some point.
kookyrunner says
Right?! The price is awesome, especially for the great quality of the sunglasses.
Sandra D Laflamme says
I don’t always run with sunglasses. I do love those! They look great on you!
kookyrunner says
Thanks Sandra!
Chocolaterunsjudy says
Unfortunately, I have a small face. And prefer wraparound glasses — for yes, more protection for my eyes. I agree that sunglasses are a necessity year round!
kookyrunner says
I was thinking of trying wraparound sunglasses but luckily these do a good job of staying on my face when I run.
San says
I must admit, I never run with sun glasses. I probably should…
kookyrunner says
Once you start running with them you will wonder how you ever ran without them!
The Accidental Marathoner says
That style looks so good on you! I have a large-ish face and a broad nose and often have to buy mens’ styles just so they will fit. I have historically been horrible about wearing sunglasses (as in, never) , but I’m trying to be better about it.
kookyrunner says
I’m glad you’re trying to get better about wearing sunglasses – so important to protect our eyes!
Coco says
I wear prescription sunglasses, so sadly I can’t try all these new styles. I did pay a fortune to get super lightweight flexible (durable) frames but they don’t have as much coverage as I’d like for cycling.
kookyrunner says
I have a pair of prescription sunglasses also so I alternate between the two pairs.
Marc Pelerin says
Awesome! Just picked up a pair of polarized glasses that I can run in and also cruise around town. They came at such a reasonable price point too.
kookyrunner says
Awesome! Glad you found a polarized pair at a great price.
Esther says
I don’t wear sunglasses often, but these sound like a winner! Love the price point and that they come in so many colors!
kookyrunner says
Me too! I love all the different colors.
