Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Topics. This week’s Tuesday Topic: FREE topic!
Yesterday was National Bucket List Day. Side note – Anyone else notice that there is a national day for literally everything?? LoL
I’ll admit that it’s always nice to think about new and different things to add to my bucket list. Here are just a few items on my bucket list.
Explore Italy
I have wanted to visit Italy for as long as I can remember. My ideal trip would be a 2-week trip to the country, exploring different cities and taking various walking and food tours. Basically I want to walk, eat and explore the architecture all throughout the country!
Take a solo cruise
I thought about doing this a few years ago but then Covid happened and I didn’t give it much thought. This year I have started to think about it more, and have done some research. There’s a nice cruise line that offers studio rooms for solo travelers which makes it way more affordable than other cruise lines. I think this is a bucket list item I can hopefully check off sometime in the near future.
Girls Trip
My best friends and I would love to take a girls trip sometime soon. It’s been a few years since we have all been in the same room together (I think the last time was 2019). Originally we wanted to plan something for our 40th birthdays since they fall on back to back to back months (March, April, May), but we’ve all been so busy this year that we couldn’t find a good time. Hopefully we can get something on the schedule this year.
Tell me: What’s the coolest thing on your bucket list?

This is a great topic!
I’ve been to Italy a lot as it’s the neighbouring country to Switzerland. I love it, although in summer it gets very full of tourists.
I would love to do the London or Boston Marathon one day…. I really should start planning that!

I imagine the summer months are super busy in Italy – all the US tourists come over, lol.

Oooh, I’d love to join you on your Italy exploration! Sadly, I’ve never been overseas, and Italy is definitely a place I want to see someday. Although, a girls’ trip, like you mentioned, sounds pretty enticing as well 😉

I really think I could spend a month just eating my way through Italy. i just keep picturing fresh pasta, delicious pizza and creamy gelato!

Yes. Everyday has a new topic.
I love what you listed.
My girls trips are the highlights of the year. I have a running one in the fall and a tennis one in the spring.
My coolest was running a race in Paris.
I want to go to Alaska, Hawaii, Iceland and an African safari.

I’ve thought about Hawaii too – it always looks so beautiful there!

I hope you get to cross those items off your bucket list! A solo cruise sounds really fun- I’ve never been on a cruise. I crossed a big item off my bucket list with my race this weekend, but now of course it’s been replaced by new things.

I’ve been on three cruises and really enjoyed 2 of them, so I would love to try one again, but none of my friends are huge cruise lovers, lol.

I am not one to make a bucket list, but I do want to go to Glacier National Park, and others. I drag my feet on vacation planning until it’s too late. But I need to get on it!

I used to be SO good at planning vacations but now I’m just like “Can we hire a travel agent?” LOL

My daughter is going to Italy this summer!! I’m so jealous, but I’m sure after I see her pictures I’ll be booking my trip there! Going to Europe still remains on my bucket list. Other than that I have dreams to visit all of the National Parks in the US. I don’t have a true written list, but I have lots of ideas on places I want to go and things I want to do 🙂

That’s so exciting for your daughter – I hope she has an awesome time there!

Italy and the cruise sound wonderful! I would love to go to Greece and Africa.
